Odin's words were slow and thoughtful; they sounded like he had been preparing his answer to this question for years.

If we live again... we live again, and celebrate it. There is an end to everything, sooner or later, and there is an end to us as well. But do not be sad about it." There was calmness on his face as he spoke.

"Werewolves have a very specific smell," he went on, lifting himself up, then holding onto the tree and sliding down from it until he was on solid ground again. Loki then turned around to finally face Caspian properly as he cleaned dust from his hands. "I'm not saying it's either good or bad, but they do. So do Asgardians and giants."
"All I did was follow the scent... and it took me to you. I did suspect it could be you, but I mostly thought it was just a friend of yours or someone you hang a lot with, and I figured I could ask them about you. If you're well and all that. But since I just found you right away... well, you're alive and well. At least I hope you're well."
They weren't best friends or anything, but the trickster did not think ill of the Prince either. And really, if things stayed that way it would likely be best...

Loki ran a hand through his hair, letting the sensation of hair between his fingers ground him in reality, make him sink even further into it - in a moment when all he wanted was to escape in his own head, it was the right choice... if the tougher one to make. "So there's no one left alive."
He pursed his lips. "Come. I have some warm food and somewhere you can stay and... pick yourself up." He could not put it in words, but his eyes spoke instead of his lips. I'm sorry. Even the trickster knew too well what it could be like to lose people you thought were close to you.

with tumblr often glitching and unfollowing people on accident, reblog this if it is okay for (former) mutuals to message you if they notice you suddenly unfollowed them out of nowhere, asking if it was a mistake β granted if it wasn't, the person remains respectful of your decision and leaves it at that once they get an answer.
everyone can reblog this, but i figure this is especially good for those of us who use the (soft) blocking feature if we decide to unfollow someone instead of just unfollowing. this way, we can be alerted if tumblr has unfollowed a friend of ours without us noticing, as well as the other mutual not having to have anxiety about you suddenly hating them or worrying that you'll get upset for them asking if it was a mistake or not.
this, of course, does not mean that you are okay with people pushing to continue conversations with you if you say you unfollowed them. let's all be adults here.

Mobius walked away from the goat multiplying area and headed towards the library and archives; mobius walked towards the one behind the desk. βExcuse me,β he said.Β
βYou Wouldnβt have a book about goats with special powers, would you?β he asked. The archivistβs eyes shifted slowly back into Mobiusβ eyes and whispered, βTry b-12β she said, looking back down, trying to get her work done before both made her stop in her place. Mobius walked away towards the aisle where the numbers of which aisle hide at the end before you would walk through.Β
The carpet dragged the souls from the bottle of his feet, but once he picked his feet up, the carpet held up a small hair almost to reach out for the soul that once stood on top. Mobius held out his hand, trying to zip through the different types of locations and societies that could be read inside of each book. He came across animals from other worlds and took it into his hands. Mobius opened it, flipping his thumb and index finger throughout the pages. βBirds that turn into dragons, no,β he read.Β
He scanned another page once it was flipped with his pointer finger. βGoats that scream,β he said. βThis might be it,β he whispered. βGoats who can scream have the best vocalsβ¦β he closed the book. βclose...β he placed it back. βHere is another,β he said, sliding it from the bookshelf and into his hands. The agent flipped the pages. βGoats that multiply,β he whispered.
βHere, it says you canβt get rid of them, and itβs unknown where they come from.β he sighed, closing the book. βItβs like, it knew.β he sighed, placing his hand over his face, trying to think on how to get rid of this nightmare. βOkay, what if we send them to an unknown location?β he whispered. βDo you know anyone whoβs willing to take them?β he asked.

β...a goat dimension?β That of course was a joke, and Thor could not help but chuckle quietly. He scratched his beard. βNow seriously. My bet is on a place with lots of forests, possibly somewhere where there are other human-like beings with strange powers. Like... well, me and Loki,β he mused, following Mobius. There could only be so many damn places where these things could thrive, right?
Well, well. The Asgardian library was not the only one so well-stacked, Thor thought as he watched the exchange between Mobius and the archivist, still following the TVA authority around the way Loki would often follow him back before he had started stirring up bigger chaos. His heart sank as he thought about it. βListen, I... I apologise on my brotherβs behalf.β Half-brother, a little voice in his head hissed at him, making his heart grow heavy, but he ignored it.
βI sometimes wish he was worse at causing as much chaos as he does.β Thor chewed on the inside of his mouth. βAt least no ones gotten hurt, though. Or died.β He fell quiet then, mulling over the goat problem again. Wow, look at that, he had even come up with a name for it now. The Goat Problem. βHey, what if I take them with me to Asgard? We have a spot where wild animals roam free. If those goats are wild, and they do look like they are to me... they might like it there. We have a bunch back there, too, and all other kinds of other animals as well. And they might like hanging with mine, I have two.β

"Wait... That fellow Freyja is talking with so often..." Thor scratches his bearded face in thought, leaning Mjolnir on his shoulder. "His face is familiar from somewhere..." It might take him a while, but the fact that he managed to remember is enough in itself. It has been quite a while.
"I know him, don't I? But what was his name? I forget if I even asked him..." He wants to do it - but for a while more the god of thunder remains quiet, thoughtful, watching out for Sheriko.
