With sai animation assistant 2 | download

- Good for small gifs with less frames, easy and quick

draw all your frames and name them 1, 2, 3, etc. in order.

put them all in one folder, with nothing else inside.

open sai animation assistant 2

click file > select source > the folder

play with the fps (frames per sec) to your liking

export gif to > the same folder

* note: save the gif under a diff name from the folder name, it gets confused

With photoshop:

- Good for large gifs with many frames, higher quality

draw all your frames and name them 1, 2, 3, etc. in order.

stack all of the frames layer by layer on top of each other.

name them Layer 1, 2, 3, etc.

window > timeline > create frame animation

click the little drop down button on the corner of the timeline tab > make frames from layers

change 'once' > 'forever'

play with the speed of each frame, usually 0.2 secs is fine
