"Man, you've been kidnapped a lot recently, Len."
Len just groaned, sitting outside on break with two of his coworkers, Nel and a new girl, Carly.
"I mean, it was really surprising when those guys pulled you into a van." Carly recalled, shuddering.
Nel laughed. "Much ruder than the giant robots."
Len put his head in his hands. "For being in hiding, they sure do pop up a lot." He got up, took a few steps and turned around. "Like, one of them is going to land right here to kidnap in like 5 seconds."
"That seems a little -"

As if on cue Nightshroud swooped down from the skies above. So this was the one - the one that everyone seemed so interested in taking. She could not understand what drew bots and humans alike to this individual, but maybe that was what made others interested. The more Len was captured, the more others wanted to know why he was so fascinating.
And dammit, now Nightshroud was curious too.
Transforming, Nightshroud landed on the ground with a backflip. She wasted no time grabbing the strange human before powering up her afterburners.
“You’re coming with me.”
Then she took flight. She hadn’t yet transformed back into her alt-mode, but sometimes flying on bot mode was preferable to her.
Len mentally cursed as he saw his coworkers eyes go up and widen. He almost lost his footing when the red bot slammed down right behind him.
Then he actually lost his footing when he was grabbed by her. It was a bit distressing that he was getting used to being snatched by their giant metal hands.
"Well, I was wrong." Nel spoke up before Carly started screaming.
And then the red bot was zooming off, him still in hand.
Len held his breath a little before beating on an area in the finger joint that should get any bot's attention. "Can you go back?! I need something from work!"
