Donnie chuckled, feeling his cheeks heating up a bit. Between Norah and Arizona, he had to start wondering if he had a thing for webcam models and porn actors. “Hey, I figured it was about time. I mean–I’ve been wanting to ask you out,” he admitted. “But, y’know, geography was in the way. So, why wait now that you’re here?” He offered his arm for her to take. “How’re you settling in, by the way? Has anyone given you the grand tour yet?” 

"Mm, those pesky state lines do get in the way of dating sometimes.” Norah teases back, laughing softly. Linking her arm through Donnie’s, she smiles up at him, starting down the street. “I’m settling. It’s awfully small here. Is there a grand tour> Because I thought I could see from one end of town to the other from my front door.” 

Makoa nodded and smiled softly. “Thanks. I’ve really tried to raise her right. Kinda helps when you have good friends, but it’s been a life-changer.” He said and thought for a moment. “I mean, we have really good burgers.”

"I haven’t lived here too long, but everyone seems nice,: Norah replies, nodding. “Alright, I’ll have a burger then.” 

Gyda smiled, “I think it’s just hard with Tereik gone honestly. I don’t know though. I’m just… I guess I never realized what it’s like being a single parent. I mean I’m not one but with his trips it feels like it sometimes. I have so much respect for you and my brothers now.” She nodded, “Like crazy respect. I had it before but now, I definitely don’t see how you three do it.” She smiled, “I know we haven’t known each other long and I know your two are older but if you ever need a baby sitter or something they are always welcome here. You’re always welcome here.”

"Omar’s old enough to watch over Anya if I need, but I’ll keep that in mind. Thank you.” Norah replies, giving Gyda a smile. “And if you ever need help with Hana, let me know. My days are pretty free if you need an hour to go grocery shopping or take a nap or whatever.” 

Lexi crossed her arms over her chest, looking at Norah. “No, I am not twelve.” she said with a huff. “Well, their bralettes are nice.”

"I was joking.” Norah points out, figuring her laugh would have made that clear. “No need to get all huffy on me just because we don’t agree about where to buy our bras.” 

Donnie decided not to press her further, and instead, he put on a rather loving smile. He was excited to be able to speak with her in the flesh. “You know me. I like to charm you whenever I could,” he said. “Would you like to get some coffee, or something, then? My treat and we could call it our first official date.” 

"Mm, and I always appreciated your tips.” Norah teases back, laughing softly. “I can always go for coffee, especially if you’re buying. Our first date, huh? I’d say you move fast, but I don’t hate it.” 

Makoa shrugged. “She comes every now and then. She usually hangs out at that booth in the corner so I can keep an eye on her or in my office. She’s pretty good about behaving most of the time.”

"That must be nice for you. She seems like a very sweet girl.” Norah replies, giving Makoa a smile. “So, I gotta ask. What’s the best thing on the menu?”

          Asher chuckled. It seemed like the woman seemed to be playing right into the palm of his hand. Or maybe it was the exact opposite. Her taking the lead in ways that were unexpected, something that almost immediately charmed him.  “Think I’m kinda running outta cheesy lines to say here,”  he confessed, eyebrows furrowed and rubbing his hand across the back of his neck as he still kept his eyes on her.  “The name’s Asher.”

“So, I bounce my little self into Victoria’s Secret today, right? And this lady’s standing there, like any ol’ saleswoman does. I walk up and asked to get my bra size measured, since I haven’t shopped there in a while, and she looks right at my chest with this completely judgmental look and goes, “Shouldn’t you be shopping somewhere a little more…your age?” Like, I get it, I look young, but still!

"Aren’t you like, twelve?” Norah asks, eyeing the blonde with a laugh. “Victoria’s Secret is a shit company anyways. You want better quality bras than that.”

“kind of, but i think i’m good with what’s in front of me now, you?,” gabrielle smirks, wrapping an arm around norah’s waist, then pulls her close for a kiss. “take me to bed?”

Smirking against Gab’s lips, Norah kisses her back, reaching for her hand after they part. “Right this way.” She says teasingly, pulling her down the hall towards her room. 

“Thank you,” Kris grinned coyly. They blushed slightly when Norah kissed their cheek. The pair of them had done things so out of order, sleeping with each other drunkenly on the first night they met. It seemed almost dumb to feel flustered by a simple cheek, in comparison. Everything about Norah flustered Kris. Reaching down, they laced their tattooed fingers with Norah’s. Kris brought their joined hands to their lips and kissed the back of Norah’s hand. “Not hiking, exactly. But there is a bit of a walk to our destination. It’ll be worth it. And I’m sure flats will be more comfortable than heels on the bike,” they pointed out as they approached their motorcycle. They handed Norah a helmet. “You need help?”

Squeezing Kris’ hand gently, Norah follows them over to their bike, accepting the helmet with a smile. “I think I can handle it. Safety first.” She says, carefully putting it on. After Kris gets on the bike, she takes a seat behind them, wrapping her arms around their waist to hold on. “Ready when you are.” 

“Small, small world. I mean, seriously. You’re here of all places,” Donnie said, his brain still trying to wrap around the fact that she was here, very real and very gorgeous. “I could say the same to you, but that’s underselling your beauty.” He winked at her. “Well, I hope we’ll get to finally get to know each other more. In person.” 

"It’s a long story.” Norah replies, gesturing vaguely. “Well aren’t you a charmer? Almost as much as you are online.” Norah teases, winking back over in Donnie’s direction. “Mm, well I’m here and you’re here, so I think we can safely say that that can happen.”
