The mere thought that you might not be the one for me or I might not be the one for you, torments me.

When each day brings happiness in life, a fear surges in the heart. A fear of how long will this happiness last, a fear of everything disappearing in the blink of an eye. It becomes difficult to live in the moment and be blissful.

Making a choice about something is when the real uncertainty begins. The more terrifying uncertainty is wanting something but not knowing how to get it. It is working towards something even though there is no sure thing. When we make choices, we open ourselves up to hard work and failure and heartbreak, so sometimes it feels easier not to know, not to choose, and not to do. But it isn't.
