Wedding Disaster (Marius from Sexy Zone)
You have the right to remain silent ma’am.” The policeman said as he cuffed my hands.
As he shoved me into the back seat of the police car I retorted back, “Officer, I don’t even know what I did wrong!”
Right before when he was about to drive me to court, he turned his back to face me and shouted, “Y/N-CHAN WAKE UP!!!”
I jumped out of bed, falling onto the ground. I looked around, and noticed I was in my bedroom. Thank god that was a dream!
“Finally! You don’t want to be late for your big day do you? Come downstairs and I’ll make you your favorite breakfast!” I looked up and noticed my mom was standing by the doorway, heading back into the kitchen. Wait a minute… big day…. CRAP I CAN’T BELIEVE I FORGOT!
I’m getting married to the famous Sexy Zone idol Marius Yo. I know right? Hard to believe. But since he’s a Johnnys, the wedding must be kept a complete secret and only known to my intermediate family. Who knew a simple encounter 5 years ago would lead to this! I released a happy sigh as I stood up and sleepily shuffled my feet out of my room.
“Mari-chan for the 100th time wake up already!!!” Marilena, my sister, shouted as she attempted to shake me awake.
“All right all right I’m up I’m up!” I responded through a yawn.
Marilena briefly lectured, “You have exactly 1 hour left to get into your tuxedo and be AT the church. Y/N-chan wants me as bridesmaid so I have to go now. You’ll have Max drive you okay?” (my brother)
“Sure whatever. Wait… ONE HOUR?!” I shouted as a late response and dashed out of my bedroom to get prepared for my big day as well. Can’t be late for my wedding!
“You should’ve woken up the first time I awoke you. Geez.” Marilena muttered under her breath.
~~~Time Skip to 30 minutes before the wedding ceremony~~~
I had everything prepared, from my leather shoes up to my styled hair. I walked around, occasionally saying ‘thank you for coming’ to the guests that I bump into. When I found four certain people waving at me, I grinned from ear-to-ear.
Shori-kun was the first to speak, “Marius-kun! Wow I can’t believe you’re getting married!”
“I’m actually quite shocked you’re the first out of us to get married.” Sou states teasingly.
Fuma joined in on the teasing, “Well Kento-kun, I guess I owe you 1000 yen once the wedding ends.”
And as always, Kento plays along to Fuma’s dumb schemes, “You can keep it. I actually always carry 1000 yen in my pocket because I thought there was NO WAY I would win.”
Everyone began laughing and all I could do was pout, “Fine, make fun all you want, but the next time you speak with me, I’ll be a happily married man!” and I stuck out my tongue before leaving to hide out in the men’s restroom.
I walked in and walked to the sink to rinse my face. That was when I heard a door open and close by the entrance. I wiped my hands and face with my handkerchief and as I slid it back into my back pocket, I saw a… girl? As I observed more closely, she was wearing all sorts of Sexy Zone goods. I immediately knew I was in trouble.
“Hajimemashite Marius-kun. You don’t know me that well but I’m your biggest fan and here to stop your marriage.” She said and locked the door.
I slowly stepped back as I looked at her in shock, “W-what?” How did someone manage to find me here… let alone I was getting married???
The crazy fan continued to approach me as she asked, “Why are you marrying her anyway? If you were going to marry a commoner, at least marry someone pretty.”
I answered her, trying my best not to snap, “Because I love her and she loves me. She sees me as a person, not an idol. And she’s way prettier than you.”
But even when I spoke so rudely to her, she still continued to walk towards me. I panicked once my back hit the wall and I couldn’t run.
She stood there, only mere inches away from me, and whispered, “Then I’ll just have to prove what I better wife I would be.”
It was time for the wedding ceremony, and everyone was sitting in their seats. I was hanging out at the back of the church, my heart almost coming out of my chest. The organ player was about to play, when Max, the best man, waved his hands in the air.
“STOP EVERYTHING! THE GROOM’S NOT HERE!” He announced, causing a wide spread of gasps and whispers amongst the crowd. What??
Marius’s fellow Sexy Zone members stood up, and Fuma yelled, “What are you people doing?! Get your butts off your seats and find him!!” and everyone did as they were told. Geez Fuma you don’t have to be rude you know.
Marius’s intermediate family, my immediate family, and the members of Sexy Zone ran all over the church, trying to find where he was hiding. Although it was hard for me to walk in this ridiculously huge wedding dress. As I turned a corner I found Shori attempting to open the door to the men’s restroom.
I approached him and asked curiously, “What’s going on Shori-kun?”
He responded as he aggressively shook the door handle, “The door’s locked. He’s probably in there. MARIUS COME OUT OF THERE!” he knocked a few times but there was no response.
I noticed that the lock seemed simple to unlock. I could easily open these things with a paper clip, “Uhm Shori-kun…. I know this is unlikely but would you happen to have a paper clip?”
And of course, he happens to pull out a paper clip from his tuxedo, “Here ya go Y/N-chan”
I took it, wondering why in the world he carries paper clips, and inserted it into the lock. It was an easy twist and it unlocked! Shori slowly opened the door and revealed an extremely shocked face.
I looked at him puzzlingly, “What’s wrong?”
“Stay back. You shouldn’t see this.” He said, still looking at what’s on the other side of that door. Obviously I wouldn’t care what he said. I pushed him aside and opened the door all the way, and found…
He immediately noticed and pushed her aside. Before I knew it, I felt tears roll down my cheeks. I took off my high heels and threw them at Marius and ran away. I knew this was too good to be true. Marius was just an idol, nothing more. Behind that adorable appearance and loving personality was a stuck-up idol who only cared about himself.
She stood there, only mere inches away from me, and whispered, “Then I’ll just have to prove what I better wife I would be…”
The crazy fangirl reached up to make contact with my lips. I was so shocked from what was happening, I couldn’t pull her away. I just stood there, wondering what was going on. Just at the worst possible moment, I looked up at the door and saw Y/N and Shori standing by the door, looking at me in utter shock. I immediately had to courage to push that idiotic girl away from me and tried to approach Y/N, only to get a whack from her high heels. I closed my eyes to embrace the impact, but by the time I reopened them, Y/N was already gone. I picked up her high heels and went to approach Shori.
“Marius what have you done…?” He said as he continued staring at me in shock. I must’ve been found because all the other guests ran over.
Kento was the first to speak, “Where’ve you been Mari-chan? You’re late for the wedding!”
Without answering his question, I announced in a shameful voice, “One of my fans found out and came here. I think she can explain the rest.” and pointed at the girl acting completely innocent. Before anyone could respond I ran in the direction Y/N ran, where I found her sitting outside by the church steps, crying her heart out.
I continued crying by the front steps of the church so no one could hear me. I cried and cried until every last ounce of tear dropped onto the concrete steps. I felt a presence near me. A presence I did not want to feel. I turned around and saw Marius looking down at me, and he climbed down to sit on the steps beside me.
“Y/N-chan let me explain…” Marius said and attempted to hold my hand but I immediately took it out of his grasp.
I looked away at the opposite direction, “What’s there to explain? It looked pretty clear to me you were kissing that slut!”
Marius replied, “You don’t understand… She’s an obsessed fan who tried to come stop our marriage. You know I wouldn’t cheat on you for the world!”
I continued looking away from him until he grabbed my chin and turned my head around to face him.
“Please Y/N-chan… I love you…” He stated as he looked deep into my eyes.
“Marius-kun…” Was all I could say before he bent his head down to kiss me. It felt almost like our first kiss. Sweet, soft, light, but yet apologetic. It was almost telling me that he was apologizing… for nothing he did wrong…
When we let go I began crying as I told him, “I hate myself. I thought of you as a self-centered idol and yet you didn’t do anything wrong. What kind of fiance am I…” and in response he held me tightly.
He stated in a sad manner, “Shhh… stop crying… I should be the one saying that. If it weren’t for me, you wouldn’t have been suffering. I’m sorry I let you into my life. You should’ve been with someone else. Someone who deserves you more.”
“No Marius. I love you. You’re the only one for me…” I responded and he just hugged me tighter, “Careful are you trying to hug me to death?”
He let out a little chuckle and released us from the hug. He looked closely at my face and took out his handkerchief and began wiping my cheeks. When he stopped I noticed his cloth was almost entirely black, probably from the mascara that leaked along with my tears. Marius returned the handkerchief to it’s previous location and placed my high heels in front of me. I slipped into them as he stood up and held out his hand.
“Come on Y/N-chan, we’ve got a wedding to finish.” he said with an adorable smile. I smiled back and reached out for his hand, lifting me back onto my feet. We walked back in where we explained everything and the bodyguards kicked out the obsessive fan and remained a close eye on her.
~~~~Time skip to wedding ceremony~~~~~
I awaited nervously in the back and gripped my father tightly. Once the flower girl threw her petals down the aisle and the organ started playing it was our turn. We slowly walked down the aisle, all eyes on us. I remained eye contact with Marius and so did he, although he had a big blush on his face. When I approached the altar I faced Marius and we both had dumb grins on our faces.
“Do you, Marius, take Y/N as your lawfully wedded wife?” The priest asked.
“And do you, Y/N, take Marius as your lawfully wedded husband?” The priest asked once again.
The priest closed the bible and stated, “Then I proudly pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.” and Marius and I kissed, causing a sudden roar of clapping and cheering.
This was the beginning of a new chapter in my life.
