So my logo has been through numerous rehauls over the years, and it seems each year it just keeps getting better and better. I am sure this is not my final rehaul but it is definitely going to be for the next couple of years. Iām sure Iāll find more imperfections while I am studying at the university.Ā
I was having some trouble finding out where I should spend my time this week, and I found solace in editing my logo because last year I ordered some business cards and they did not turn out as expected. I am assuming it is because I did not convert the paths properly in Adobe Illustrator. In any case, I rebuilt the same logo from the ground up using proper file paths.Ā I will post a photo of the business card mishap in another entry.Ā
This past year I was extremely fascinated with the golden ratio and its use within the graphic design community, especially with logos. I felt it was best to try and incorporate this ratio into my design because I saw a lot of potential and opportunity. As of now, I used the ratio for the arms stemming out, and I used the circles found within the ratio to dictate the size of the skull, the eyes, the nostrils and the crown. Overall I am pretty pleased with the new dimensions of the logo, except for the fact that when I downscale the image for social media it looks a bit small & thin. But I will trust the ratio for now and worry about more updates in the future. - Vioā¢
