The progress has been infinitesimal but constant, my mind a buzzing engine of thought Its own vibrations carry it through the day That’s the easy part.

It’s harder to push. To shove the thing into place. except this isn’t that kind of activity

think more like storing, carding, drawing it from the spindle of your mind, desperate and afraid of a snap

but I’ve been fearing less lately. enough practice will do that to you. the mind tires even of terror the material overflows. the loom is treacherous but even it can't deny the work is needed.
