Log Entry 13: It’s been an eventful week. Have I mentioned how much I hate Space Pirates? because I really do. came across a group of them attacking a convoy just off planet, so I decided to go ahead and engage. in Hindsight, not my best idea. (Note to self: if going into space battle, make sure to have proper resources for shield regeneration). Had to go back and retrieve my stuff afterwards.
Anyway, the planet they were located above was a fairly good find for me this time. I think I spent the most time on the surface just wandering around and finding Those history monoliths for the Korvax Convergence (f.y.i. having information inserted directly into ones brain is very painful). Those entities are a friendly bunch for being made of pure information.
I even found a new ship! well, I had to fix it up again, first, but it was much better than my first one (Found another, bigger ship yesterday, so it was fun while it lasted).
The next planet over in the system was a little bit.....barren. It would be fairly accurate to call it a desert planet. Not the Kind everyone else thinks of, but more like the Mojave back on Earth. just rocks and mesa and shrubs and cacti. I got a lost for a few days before I made it back to the ship. There was a whole lot of gold, though. found a few lumps of the stuff just sticking out of the ground.
Of course, just before I left the System, I stopped by one more planet. Acid rain is not fun.
