I am so excited to share that I've been offered the opportunity to travel abroad in Austria for three weeks to study the light and dark side of psychology with other psychology students. After I graduate from SUNY Brockport I plan on furthering my education and eventually becoming an elementary school counselor. This program will allow me to understand both sides of psychology as we visit an art history museum, the Sigmund Freud museum, St. Stephen's Cathedral, the Mauthausen concentration camp and so much more. Austria offers me the opportunity to compare contructive and desctructive behavior in a way that I will be able to take with me as I further my degree and as I begin to help my own students. As soon as I heard about this study abroad trip offered by my college, I knew that I had to go. It satisfied my growing need to travel while also recieving psychology credits towards my degree. I can not wait to make the most of this experience and share all of my stories when I come back!Any donations that you make will help me further my experience even further!
