Thanks to you I was fearless enough to do something I was struggling with for a long, long time. I don’t know if you ever got my letter (I gave it to Erica & she wanted to hand it to your mom) but I’m just telling you a little part of it here again. When I read your Chicago speech about Pride month at the beginning of June the morning after the concert, I broke down in tears. The reason for it is that I’m bi sexual (95% into girls though haha). I came out online and to all of my irl. friends last year but I‘m still struggling to tell my family. So the sentence „I wanna send my love & respect to everyone who hasn’t felt comfortable enough to come out yet and may you do that on your own time…“ hit me the hardest. I was thinking about your speech the whole time & made this plan in my head. I wrote the whole delicate speech down on my pride flag and took it with me to the London shows to take pictures in front of the stage. I knew that I would feel the happiest and safest ever when I’m at your concert and nothing can harm me and it felt so good and right to take these pictures there. Thanks to your shows and your endless support I decided to do the final step and use those pictures to come out to my little sister!!! Her reaction was so amazing & she said she got goosebumps when she read your speech and that you found the perfect words (which is so true!).
