Okay, It may not be so unpopular..But what about stories of someone who socially transitions and then realizes theyâre not trans? Again, feel free to have your own opinions. But itâs okay to make mistakes. Small ones at best. We need trans stories and in order to get that, itâs okay to sometimes have the opposite (preferably in my case with my TADC au) not necessarily entirely a âdetransitionâ because transition for most part is Parmenant. But more so, maybe one person thought theyâre trans and it turns out they werenât. Oops. Just that. Not important. Not being transphobic, just living your life and then making a simple mistake.
I have mixed feelings about Daisy as a Concept because I always asked myself. Whatâs really going on?? What does this character show or express how they feel?? Gender disphoria? Gender Envy?? Or something else? Maybe Mutiple things?
Itâs my psychologist brain into work here, because in this field there can be many mistakes and itâs okay to admit it. Because there is literally no consequences to just admitting it.
I said I felt comfortable wuth what Tadc gave us. I didnât need anymore women and men, nor any less women and men.
Jax showing clear signs of maybe something like gender disphoria. No matter what type you wanna interpret that as. It doesnât necessarily always mean trans. Not that itâs any more outrageous if she is. It just simple as âOh okay. Yeah weâll leave you to your own devices thenâ
And so thatâs why Gooseworx might have done the hard thing in making Jax abstract.
I know we need more trans rep. But if Jax is the special case in which we got that, but not outwardly getting that. Jax is still Trans in that!! Thatâs still a trans story no matter what!
Gooseworx still gave you Tranfem rep and still wanted to write her story.
I know itâs sad, and many people see it as a Closted Tranfem ending her life..
But if Jax wasnât coded with Transfeminity, wouldnât it still be an Allegory for Suicide regardless of the issues?
People matter no matter what they suffer with and I think itâs unfair to not to take that into account.
And yeah, there are many more layers.
And yeah, Iâm suprised Jax at all didnât at least use âShe/Herâ Pronouns, but again, thatâs perfectly fine!! Maybe she needed more time! Maybe it was a simple mistake! Or maybe, thatâs the point. Not everything needs to be set in stone.
Itâs why I feel conflicted. I know not everyone likes the idea of sometimes dark realities of Mental health isssues or What it means to be Trans. But from my perspective and this is just a opinion,
But I believe itâs important to have these discussions to begin with. This Femophillia and Gender queer theory of some kind, so that society has a better view of what should be given to the people.
Sometimes to help people, you need to be clear about whatâs the truth, even if itâs dark, but it still counts because it matters.
Because only then will people finally accept people and only then can real change happen.
Though I donât like the idea of I saw the Tv glow, perhaps one can interpret the circus as this and yet one day, maybe Roy will Be her beautiful Transgirl self when she is ready.
Thatâs why Iâm Glad Jax came out and didnât remain in the closet.
