Out of all the options I could think of for today's prompt, I just wanted to draw Sun's broken and halfhazardly repaired back. Can't rebuild what can't get spareparts anymore.

Legit, not much change from canon.

Sun and Moon are basically side characters, they do not get an onscreen story.

This is because the whole point of the Celestial Waffle House AU is to focus on other characters.

To not focus on Sun and Moon, but don't worry they do still exist. Their actions are still effecting the characters around them.

It just focuses on those character's responses to those actions.

Ya'll will see/hear about Sun and Moon from these characters.

Eclipse will be mortify to find out how janky Jack's creation was. Remember, Jack used to only remember things only for 24 hour until Monty fixed it.

Solar is not good at coding. So he usually relies on others to do it for him.

Nexus/New Moon was still new during that time so he wasn't the greatest when it came to coding but he was definitely better than Solar.

It didn't help who Nexus was using as reference for Jack as well.

Either way, Eclipse will need to do some updates on Jack's software to make sure everything is okay and put up firewalls.

This discussion between the two was started due to Jack getting "sick" by a virus because he downloaded sketchy games into his head.

Exactly. I just find it more interesting to see how they handle their trauma and how they try to move on from it by finally having a safe place to call home.

Solar Eclipse Union AU focus more on characters than shipping. Of course there will be shipping moments, it's just a slow burn. Eclipse and Solar first gotta become friends.

We get to see a lot of discussions of the past from them both.

It takes a while thou because they both decided to put their children's issues as the the main concern before their own. The kids need them. After all, most of the kids are dead ghost children. Some of them are in different stages of acceptances. Two of the kids don't even fully understand what it means to be dead.

It just takes time to heal. And the first steps that Eclipse made sure was to have a place for all of them to rest. It's one of the reasons why Solar respects Eclipse. He made sure they were all safe, even allowing Solar and Jack to join.

A bit of both those things.

People tend to treat him differently once they know he's got 1 HP. Like he's weak. Or like he could explode into dust if they accidentally bump him.

The only exceptions so far have been Papyrus, who treated him the exact same upon learning. And Chara, who became MORE afraid once they learned because holy shit.
