Before we moved into the camper nearly 6 months ago, I had this expectation in my mind that I would have everything just so, perfectly decorated and organized from day 1 of tiny-life. . Yet, just like any home, no matter how small or big, making it our own has been a slow process. During our first few months, this fact really frustrated me. Time, money, and indecision did not allow me to complete projects as quickly as I anticipated, and even worse than these, comparison kept me from enjoying myself. I pressured myself with my impatience to create a Pinterest-perfect environment and to create it NOW. . Our home has come a longggg way since its wood paneled days, for sure, but is still not complete, I guess. And I think I've finally let go of unnecessary expectations and allowed myself to move at my own pace with my own tastes (although, I still consider Pinterest to be a gem of inspiration). When I stopped comparing myself to others and allowed myself to be PROUD of how I work, I started having a LOT more fun! . Anyway, all this gabbing to say, I decorated this corner this afternoon, and I love it! I'm probably just going to sit here for the rest of the day, drinking coffee and staring at it 😉 #NoffHouseHome
