Around 3AM on Saturday, we started a 14 mile round trip hike to Longs Peak, which is 14,259 feet above sea level and the highest point in Rocky Mountain National Park. We ended up turning back at around 13,000ft due to some pretty intense cold winds and steep scrambling (combined with our inexperience), but we are so proud of making it even that far! Neither of us have ever accomplished anything so physically challenging or seen the world from such a beautiful perspective. All together, we hiked about 13 miles in 10 hours or so. We'd really love to try it again next year when the weather is warmer, and when we've prepared a bit more π #NoffHouseGoesToCO (at Longs Peak)
