one excuse i see a lot is "it's the only place my friends use and i can't keep in touch with them anywhere else" which 1) i don't believe and 2) if they aren't even attempting to stay in touch with you off-site then they aren't your friends. you're just addicted to emotional self-harm and won't admit it. do something about it
