Omg I’m gonna fucking cry. AGAIN.

Ugh. I’m so fucking happy I worked in a GYN clinic and educated myself on topics my mother wouldn’t even dare to talk about. I counseled teens about birth control, STD’s and safe sex. And I became comfortable enough to ask my daughter if she knew how to use condoms and to show me and enough for me to talk about HPV and other STD’s because God knows what sort of ridiculous lies they tell these kids and pass it on as “sex ed”. I didn’t know there such things as dental dams until I was an independent adult. And I wasn’t taught that STD’s could be transmitted via oral sex. Our health/sex education has failed us.
