Murder Drones Fan Animation – Part 1 (WIP)

I've started working on a Murder Drones fan animation, and I finally decided to share it.

It's still unfinished, and there are plenty of scenes I still want to animate. Instead of keeping everything private until it's done, I'll be uploading it in parts as I make progress.

Here I post my Part of this Indie animation Project.

Completed:

Continued sound design work for Scene 3.

Added panning to improve spatial positioning of sounds.

Refined audio cues to support camera movement and scene timing.

Successfully connected my keyboard as a MIDI device for Waveform.

Created a small animation test in Krita to evaluate animation performance on my older secondary tablet (Murder Drones Flight Test).

Current Focus:

Scene 3 sound design.

Music experimentation and composition workflow.

Challenges:

Adding new sounds often requires repositioning existing audio tracks to maintain timing.

Initially, keyboard recordings could only be imported through recordings made on my tablet.

A song I considered using ("Long Long Time" by Kitty Kallen) cannot be included because of copyright restrictions.

Solutions & Discoveries:

Successfully configured the keyboard as a MIDI controller in Waveform without the original cable.

Learned additional Waveform shortcuts and workflow improvements.

Decided to create original music instead of relying on copyrighted songs.

Began researching composition techniques, royalty-free resources, and sound libraries for future use.

Next Steps:

Continue refining Scene 3 audio.

Experiment with original piano and MIDI compositions.

Improve audio workflow and track organization.
