          “Well, Phoenix i’s a pleasure to meetcha.  Now wha’ areye, I mean, I can tell by yer scen’ ye’re no’ human bu’ I cannae tell wha’ ye are.”  The vampire said, rather tactlessly, as he’d become known for.

⊰ 🔥 ⊱ ➟ Phoenix still blatantly refused to shake the stranger’s hand; a stubborn & rude child they had grown into. In fact, they didn’t even plan on facing him, always not being one for social situations of any sort. However, they did turn their head to give him a confused look when they misheard the question.                               “Oh, you’re asking what I am. I thought you were asking                                where I was.” They faced forward again, face easing back into their neutral expression. They weren’t the best with accents, despite their knowledge of multiple languages.                                 “My scent, huh? What are you? A werewolf or something?” They looked down at their fingernails and sighed.                                  “What I am is really of no importance. However, if you                                    really demand on knowing, and you seem like the type of                                    person who is, I’ll tell. I am an angel...of sorts.”

           “Well I’m glad da’ ye’re no’ hurt.  Me name’s Mike, wha’s yers?”  The Irish lad said, holding a hand out for them to shake.

⊰ 🔥 ⊱ ➟ Phoenix looked up at the other, preferring him on the ground. Of course, they’ve had a lot of time to get used to having to look up at people, and that wasn’t changing, but still. They stared blankly, unintentionally giving him a cold, dead stare. ( They weren’t even sure if he could see well in the dark like they could. )                               “Anymore?” They repeated, not even realizing that they actually spoke. They huffed a bit, turning halfway.                               “Right. I’m the same way.” The fallen spoke, folding their arms over their chest. They glanced over at the other’s hand, but soon faced forward again.                               “It’s not that important to you.” They mumbled, bringing their arm up so their hand could lay against their collarbone. Finally, they sighed, and faced Mike.                               “It’s Phoenix, if you must know.” They turned their head and looked away from the other again, clearly not the nicest of people, or one of the easiest to get along with.

⊰ 🔥 ⊱ ➟ Although Phoenix could sense the other’s presence, they made no effort to get out of the way, figuring that this person would move instead. However, they were quickly proven wrong when the other suddenly clashed into them, causing them to stumble forward a bit. They growled under their breath as they composed themselves, taking a deep breath. They understood that most people can’t see well in the dark, but come on. The fallen angel turned around, giving this klutz a blank expression.                              “Shouldn’t I be asking you if you’re alright?” It’s not like Phoenix genuinely cared if this guy was alright, it was just that the other seemed to have gotten more injured than they did.                                “I’m fine enough.”
