Sirius black showing the transfer student around school. Pt.2
The girl smiled at you, but not a friendly smile, one that you felt hid other intentions. She saw you walking in the hallway and in her own words, “from the goodness of her heart, knew she should help you”. The hufflepuff girl with long straight hair, her dark eyes shined as she looked over to you, you’d heard that hufflepuff’s were really nice, so you could have worse company, you guessed.
“So, y/n, has anyone in the school been helping you, or have you been alone all day?”, you shook your head, as you walked towards what you hoped would be the door to your dorm room.
“Really, who was it?”, she asked a little too interested. She put her hand on your shoulder, you pulled away slightly, as not to seem rude, just enough so she’d know you were uncomfortable. But she didn’t understand, as she pulled closer to you.
“He said his name was Sirius black”, you said, she smiled to herself and pulled back away from you. “So you know him pretty well then since you’ve spent the day with him?”, she asked you motioning for you both to turn the corner. “Not really, we didn’t talk much”, you shrugged just now feeling the weight of the books in your arms, hoping that you’d get to the dorm rooms soon.
“Yeah, but he’d say hi to you if you talked to him, right?”, she said with enthusiasm. You shrugged again and nodded modestly, “I guess”. And you finally understood what she was after, she wanted you to try to get his attention for her. Except he had barely paid any attention to you today either so it was unlikely you could help her. You finally rounded a corner once more and the hall came to a dead end, you looked at her confused and she shrugged, “sometimes the school changes, well, that just means you and me can spend some more time together right? How about you come eat lunch with me and my friends and then we can see if Sirius knows where to go”.
You sighed and turned around, “ok”, you say quietly as she speed walked up to your side. She then dragged you through the school to the cafeteria. You were pulled to one of the long tables and a group of very beautiful girls with robes from all of the other houses sat giggling and talking. The girl sat you down and moved in next to you, you saw her eyes lingering down the table to where Sirius sat with his friends. You sat silently as the girls yelled over each other and held their own little conversations. You felt someone’s eyes on you and looked over, there was Sirius looking down to where you sat. A blush overcame your face and you looked away, you felt someone’s hand on your shoulder.
You looked over to the hufflepuff girl and she smiled at you, “you should smile at him”. She said looking up to the boy again, her grip on your shoulder got tighter. You looked over at him and smiled despite your embarrassment. He smiled back but it soon disappeared as he looked at the other girls you sat with, his attention then got pulled back as a brunette boy murmured something to him.
“You like him, don’t you?”, she whispered into your ear, much to your dismay. “He’s cute isn’t he?”. You shrugged a blush burning your cheeks, it’s not that you had a crush on him. Of course he was attractive and it wasn’t everyday that a cute boy was nice to you. He just didn’t seem like the kind of person you’d want to spend your time with, he was a trouble maker and that’s how you felt about the girl on your shoulder now.
“I’m sorry, y/n, but I like him, which means you wouldn’t do that right? Cause we are friends, and friends don’t do that to each other right?”, you looked at her a little terrified, she had known you for a whole 30 minutes at most and now you were friends. “I don’t like him, I don’t even know him”, you murmured quietly to the girl.
“Good, that’s for the best right, especially because he doesn’t like girls like you anyway. No offense”, she said laughing. You felt a blush come to your face as the other girls had started to listen in on your conversation and all started to chuckle at the girls last comment. You looked down to the pile of books in your lap, what did they even mean, he doesn’t like girls like you. Girls like what?
“Y/n, maybe we should go say hi, and then when me and him start talking you can go find your dorm room”, she said with a smile that showed her dimple. Your eyes widened, and you spoke up, “but, I don’t know where they are”.
“Oh don’t worry, you’ll find them at some point I’m sure”, the girls at the table laughed and you couldn’t take it anymore. “That’s unfair, you said you’d take me, all you want is for me to introduce you to that boy, couldn’t you do that by yourself?”, the girl scoffed at you.
“First day jitters all gone now? Y/n? Come on, now, if you’re really that jealous then just tell me. So we can take care of it”, the girls laughed again, your face blushed with humiliation. “I don’t have a crush on him, I only met him today!”, you said a little louder than you meant to. A few people sitting nearby looked over to you, and you got even more embarrassed. It’s only your first day here, and you’ve already experienced more drama than you’ve probably had in a lifetime. That’s hogwarts for you, I guess.
The girl stood up and looked down expecting you to get up with her. “Come on let’s go”.

“Why are you being so quiet? Sirius”, Sirius looked over at Remus, who actually liked taking things seriously, which seemed to be a good thing this time. He felt guilty for leaving the girl by herself and now here she was, sitting with the most annoying girls in the school, and she looked very uncomfortable.
