find out yourself

Shit, my last post was when I was a year younger. A lot has happened. I finally transferred schools and I’ll finally be on my way to a bachelor’s. Sorry, it took so long, mom. I hopped on a plane in September to travel to Iceland for the first time. It was my first time out of the country in 10 years too. I’ll post a few pictures on here, and I got a chance to pick up a camera. I’m really getting into photography, especially getting some awesome opportunities to travel while doing it. I’m curious about what I can capture and what I can do with this small piece of technology. 

Decided to check what’s going on in 2017. Last post was apparently a year ago! I got another job, I’m at an internship - looking for another, transferring to another school, finding another job, seeing what I can do before I turn 23. Proudest moment so far? Going to school, working, and interning for 3 months without a day off and getting straight A’s during the Winter quarter. Sunday-Tuesday I worked 8 hour shifts, Tuesday & Saturdays went to class, my Saturday class was a 5 hour class. Wednesday - Friday I took a train into the city to my internship. If you ever do a no day off schedule, make sure to find the down time. You need your sanity and some rest, because I injured my head and took off 3 days just to realize you have to slow down when you need to! Or life will teach you to.

I can’t get enough of this song, but when I first heard this song. I thought about you. I never even showed it to you, I never told you I love you, but I immediately thought of you and us.

I definitely went out of my comfort zone and met more people than I could imagine. I turned 21, I got a tattoo, and I met someone. I let it slip away. I found myself okay with seeking out a relationship, and then when it ended... 2016 came around only to find myself wanting to be more alone than I thought.

I already know what I'm going to wear, how to do my hair, artists I want to see...Let's get down at Hard Summer!

Each time I come back to familiar places it is always with new friends or a new memory. That's what makes a place you've been to adventurous every time.
