Random Things

1. Paul was a massive dick to Pony every time he came to the Curtis house but instead of ruining his big brothers friendship by snitching he resorted to throwing books at Paul when no one was looking and only came clean to doing that after Darry and Paul stoped hanging out

2. On occasion soda will go over pony’s notes from school to catch up one some things but half the time he doesn’t understand what he’s writing about

3. I think we all can agree that soda has adhd

4. Johnny ate the most random foods not just because he simply needed food he genuinely liked it and i mean he would eat stuff like brussels sprouts with ketchup

5. the only reason dally ever knew the gang was cause johnny saw him thought his hair was cool and brought him to the lot where everyone was hanging out

6. Pony used to call his brothers “dearest big brother(s)” and no one knows why but now he’ll do it if he wants something

1. When the Curtis parents were still alive everything was at a height that Mrs. Curtis could reach (iheadcannon that she was around 5’9) but after their death they made it easier for the gang to reach but cause ponyboy is canonically around 5’5 he already had problems reaching things and this just made it worse

2. When the gang does go on their rare trip to the rodeo Pony is “randomly” some where else when it’s time for barrel racing (Cherry is a berrel racer in the book)

3. The only reason Johnny was still in school was cause the Curtis’ where the ones to help enroll him along with some other greasers

4. Despite the Steve pony rivalry pony is the reason him and Evie are dating… he got fed up from hearing Steve after school talking about his crush on Evie and Evie in his math class talking about her crush on Steve so he snuck fake love notes in each of their lockers and no one knows to this day except Sandy cause she helped Pony get Evie’s schedule for a date that he set up

5. On the rare occasion that two-bit’s little sister has to stay with the gang that is the one time that there is no smoking no beer no talking about girls just giving that girl what she wants (most of the time it’s just watching Mickey Mouse with her brother and chicken nuggs and sometimes one of the gang reading er a book)
