draken is just as observant as mikey - but unlike his shorter friend, he won’t insist on it. he’ll ask you once and if you say it’s nothing, he’ll respect it.

but eventually, he won’t be able to ignore that there’s something taking a toll on you - he notices the change in your behavior and how tired you look. so he’ll take you to get lunch at your favorite restaurant and, after seeing you spend more time playing with your food instead of eating one of your favorite foods.

so when you got home, he sat you down and explained he wanted to help you. draken is bad with words, so he didn’t know what to say to make you more at ease, but he’s a good listener.

again, he doesn’t know exactly what to say after you admit to feeling unworthy of him - saying that he could date someone better. so he just hugs, telling you to cry if you feel like it.

he’ll try to be more vocal about his feelings, praising you more, making sure to verbalize and show in different ways that he appreciates you and doesn’t wish to be with no one else.

@ TAKEMICHI

clueless, really. takemichi will need some time to realize there’s something wrong. and when he asks you and you tell him it’s nothing,

he’ll believe it. he might notice you acting weird again a few days later - he might ask again or he won’t believe it will bother you.

in one way or another, you’ll have to take the first step and go talk to him, opening up about your insecurities or he’ll catch you crying and there will be no way of denying it.

he’ll take you to a nice but more empty park so you can talk about it if you’re comfortable. he won’t know exactly what to say, but he’ll hug and comfort you, while pointing out everything he loves in you.

if you don’t feel comfortable talking about it yet, he’ll take you to a nice cafe so you can eat something and just relax. takemichi will make a lot of jokes, trying to make you laugh and take your head out of it.

@ BAJI:

remember how he figured out kisaki’s plan before everyone else? yes, he’ll notice you weren’t acting like your usual self. and he’ll just be direct and ask what’s wrong the moment you are alone - like: “hey, what’s wrong? who’s ass do i gotta kick?”

if you say it’s nothing, he’ll say he doesn’t believe you, but that you don’t need to talk about it until you’re comfortable. but he’s curious, really - not exactly curious, he just doesn’t like seeing you like that and wants to be able to solve it as soon as possible.

poor chifuyu, baji will ask about advice a lot, asking his friend if he ever read about something like that in any shoujo.

he’s overjoyed when you decide to tell him what is going on - finally he'll be able to do something to put a smile on your face again. until you confess to feeling unworthy of him and he’s just really confused.

but them he’ll smile at you and tell you how silly that is, that he loves you and only you and he wouldn’t be with you if he didn’t find you as awesome as him - he’s trying to make you laugh but he means it.

@ CHIFUYU:

he also notices, but will believe anything you tell him - like, if you say you’re just tired or blame college or your work.

but then he notices that you’re still not acting like yourself after a few days. chifuyu’ll get worried and ask about it again, wondering if he did something wrong. after assuring him he did nothing wrong, if you say you don’t want to talk about it he’ll just smile at you and say that it’s okay, that you can be free to go to him whenever you’re ready.

and when you do decide to open up - gosh, he’s so happy you’re trusting him. if you are at his house, he’ll let you pet peke j while you talk if it makes you feel better.

he’ll hug you as soon as you let it out and he sees the tears in your eyes while whispering comforting words in your ear and reassuring you, telling you he loves you.

he’ll also point every little thing he loves about you before taking you out to eat something you like in hopes to help you feel better.

@ WAKASA

there are many things wakasa is taking with him when he dies. one of them is how quick he fell for y/n even if he got to meet them because they were dating one of his friends.

he never thought he would be in this situation. nevertheless, there he was, staring at benkei and his s/o playing in the pool in takeomi's house.

wakasa spent months trying to deny how he felt about y/n. but every time he saw them, he felt all his efforts go down the drain - they would smile at him, just like they smiled at shinichiro and takeomi, and wakasa felt his knees getting weak. he would probably kneel in front of y/n if they weren't his friend's partner and weren't so obviously in love with him.

if only they had met him first, the story would be different...

wakasa couldn't be sure about it, but he felt it. he had many things in common with y/n and what they didn't have in common they complete each other the way couples who stay married for years do. and he just couldn't imagine y/n's relationship with keizo lasting long - but it was another thing he wouldn't revel in life.

the list was pretty long and most of it was about y/n.

wakasa would never let anyone know how sometimes he wished benkei would break their heart just so he could fix it.

he would never let anyone know how he imagined making y/n moan his name over and over as he made them come undone on his bed, the only name letting their lips would be his. he would never talk about how he would jerk off to these thoughts almost every night.

he would just be patient and went for y/n to notice by themselves that wakasa was more suitable for them than benkei.

@ RINDOU

when kokonoi mentioned having a s/o, rindou found it slightly hard to believe. he knew many people would want to date someone as rich as hajime, even more, if the bank account came with a pretty face. but he never thought kokonoi would want to be in a relationship. so rindou was looking forward to meeting them when kokonoi told mikey and the boten's executives he would be hosting a small party on his birthday and that his s/o would be there.

rindou was curious to see how his coworker relationship worked and who was - as he called them before getting to meet them - his sugar baby. however, it was obvious that neither of them expected y/n to be how they were - kind, funny, caring, and even if they were dressed nicely, didn't act interested in koko's money at all. and they even laughed at rindou's lame jokes - even if they agreed with ran when he called them lame, admitting that they laughed because they didn't expect the joke to be so bad.

they liked many movies rindou liked as well as books, in a way that they talked a lot during the party. even if it was all friendly, rindou looked at koko many times, checking if he was fine with him talking to them. and not once hajime seemed to care. ok, he just wasn't the jealous type.

even after the party and the jokes ran made about him crushing over koko's s/o, rindou never thought he would actually befriend them. but each time y/n showed up at their building - to give koko something he forgot at home or just to see him - or parties, rindou got closer to them.

so close he noticed how koko didn't seem to not pay attention to them, instead of being the chill type of boyfriend the younger haitani thought at first.

so close he noticed how sad y/n looked sometimes and how koko didn't seem to notice. and, so close, he became the one they would talk about how bad their relationship with hajime was sometimes.

rindou got to know about akane and how hajime showed y/n a picture of her asking if they like her hairstyle - saying that if they did, they would get them an appointment with the best hairstylist he knew so they could get it done. hajime acted like it was a random internet picture, but y/n had found out about akane months before when they got curious and asked a few people about it after hearing koko say her name in his sleep - hell, sometimes he would moan her name while fucking them.

rindou never thought things would be like this when koko first mentioned that he was dating someone. but he also didn't expect to fall for his coworker's s/o - again, maybe because he didn't expect someone as amazing as y/n to be dating his coworker. and even if never was exactly friends with koko, he also never thought he could be such a jerk to date someone being in love with another.

@ SANZU

to say that sanzu was used to overdosing was a misunderstanding - you just don't get used to certain things. but the other boten members certainly were - maybe because they work line involved many bad things. however, it would be a lie to say haruchiyo didn't feel slightly hurt well even his brother wouldn't show any care about his well-being. so, when ran's s/o first went to a club with them and saw sanzu doing the usual amount of drugs and got worried, asking him if he shouldn't slow down and have a cup of water with that sweet voice of theirs, sanzu couldn't help but feel his chest get warm, his heart beating faster - and when ran told y/n to just ignore him that he was used to it, haruchiyo used all his willpower to not use as much as he usually did. while ran and the others didn't to mind it, he could tell y/n as less tense as they watched him drink water and keep the pills on his pocket.

since his coworkers never seemed to care about his substance abuse, sanzu didn't think they had noticed how hard he tried to not be too high when he knew y/n would be around. but rindou did.

"i see what you're doing. i suggest you stay away from them," he said once they were together inside the elevator in boten's building.

sanzu only rolled his eyes, acting as nonchalantly as possible - but he was caught off guard.

"i have no idea what you're talking about."

"i'm talking about ran's s/o and how you..."

"just don't wanna scare the poor thing away. i'm sure they already endure a lot dating your brother." the pink-haired man said before the elevator stopped at rindou's floor. before getting out, the haitini didn't say goodbye but looked at sanzu in a way that made it clear he didn't believe him.

sanzu went back home earlier that day and got as high as he could, not caring about anything. it wasn't like he could have y/n anyway, not even his family cared about him and he didn't have any friends.

he thought it was just a silly little crush until he woke up in the hospital and saw y/n in a chair beside his bed.

@ TAIJU

taiju knew he would never be able to stay a hundred away from gangs. even if he was involved with any anymore, his name was still pretty famous and his younger brother was part of one. but it never stopped him from trying to stay as far away as possible, focusing on his business - even when dirty rich gang members would show up at his restaurants, he treat them like normal clients and wouldn't go to them unless they called for him, what was unusual.

but south terano was an unusual man, who asked to see - to be served by - the ex-black dragon's 10th leader. and when one of the waiters called him and explained the situation, taiju expect to see south with a few of his men. he definitely didn't think terano would be celebrating his anniversary with his s/o and asking for the owner of the palace to guarantee they would have the best treatment.

in a different situation, taiju would think it was pathetic - his employees were more than capable of giving south an amazing treatment -, but if he were celebrating his anniversary with such a flawless s/o such as south's, he also would want to make sure to offer them the best of the best. and he was even more sure about it when he saw their eyes shine as they tried the dishes.

while explaining each dish and his suggestions, taiju found out south’s s/o was a chief themselves and understood a lot about culinary - and, seeing the delight on their face as they ate the food, taiju wondered how such an angel ended up with south.

taiju knew it was a sin to desire someone’s partner, but he couldn’t help imagining how much happier he could make them.

@ HINATA

hinata feels awful. she had always supported emma - first, trying to get her with draken, then helping her get over him when he started dating someone else and she even helped when emma said she had a crush on someone who recently started working on her favorite coffee shop.

but hinata never thought the new worker would be y/n, whom tachibana met in college when they had to do a project together and have been crush since then. what was fine, she broke up with takemichi after high school, but why didn’t she ever mentioned y/n to emma?

because she wanted to keep them to herself - she liked that they’re her secret, like a hidden treasure. but now, because of it, she had to watch emma hold their hand as they left the campus.

emma was gorgeous, hina had to admit. and even if the blonde told her the story a few times, it was still hard for hinata to understand how she managed to start dating y/n so fast.

still, even if seeing them together bothered her, hinata would smile and laugh and they went shopping or to eat something — however, she always found a way to leave earlier.
