Andre

- Most of Andre’s worst traits are pretty obvious just by spending a few minutes with him, let's be honest. He's perpetually angry, though it's not like he screams over every minor inconvenience that crosses his path (at least not externally). He'll roll his eyes or scoff, especially at people so he can let them know that he's annoyed. So even though he won't throw a fit in public, he's just generally kind of a dick. 

- Once you actually start dating, he tries a lot harder to regulate and control himself. But this only really means that he keeps a lot more inside for longer, which inevitably leads him to lash out on the nearest person. Unfortunately, this usually ends up being you. 

-You’d be in his car or bedroom or wherever, and he'd get pissed if you just like. Asked him a question. Or just tried interacting with him in any capacity while he’s already in a mood. Even if he doesn’t raise his voice, he makes it pretty obvious when he’s mad. 

- He’d complain about you being annoying, or making things worse and more difficult for him, and if for whatever reason you don’t leave immediately after (or if he didn’t force you away), he’d just seethe in silence while you sulked until giving you a half-assed apology. 

- If he’s more aware that he’s in the wrong, he’d switch up out of nowhere and act all soft, as if he wasn’t losing his shit at you over nothing, not even ten minutes prior. He’d apologize, but if you didn’t accept it as soon as you heard him, he’d just get mad all over again. 

- If you do end up forgiving him that quick, he’d hold you in his arms while telling you how much he loves you, and making sure you knew it. It’d sort of derail into him talking about how no one else could ever or is ever gonna love you as much as he does. He doesn’t say it in a way that’s meant to be an insult to you though, just as a way of talking himself up and making him, his feelings for you, and your relationship with him seem more special

- He’d never actually hurt you, no matter how upset he got, but he’d be the type of guy to just kick and throw things around when he’s mad. He’d always assure you that he’d make sure you’d always be safe around him, but that never really stops you from recoiling whenever he raises his voice or turns an entire room sideways in front of you. It doesn’t really matter if his anger is directed at you or not, because you both know what he’s capable of.

- He’d insult your intelligence pretty harshly if you ever did anything he viewed as stupid, even if you were just joking. Things like calling you stupid, questioning “why he’s even with you”, things that he knows he doesn’t mean, even in the moment, but says regardless because he wants you to feel bad.

Cal

- Cal would make fun of you and just generally be rude to you really often, but always play it off as a joke.

- If you ever confided in him about things that you were insecure about, he’d use that against you later on. Often in arguments, but sometimes he’ll just bring up things he knows will upset you just to see how you’ll respond. And then act dumb and surprised you ACTUALLY get upset. 

- He’d disregard your feelings pretty harshly if you ever expressed any negative feelings you had about how he talks to you. He’d say that you’re being too sensitive, and just looking for reasons to be upset. 

- In general, if you ever tried to open up to him about your personal life and feelings, he wouldn't even make an attempt to try and listen to you, he wouldn’t even try to seem like he’s listening. He’d probably even try and downplay how you felt, not because he actually wanted to diminish your feelings, but because he just thinks it’s funny to mess with you. Even if it means being genuinely hurtful in the process.

- Most of his cruelty comes from boredom and general social ineptitude, but that doesn’t mean he’s like this at no fault of his own. There’d be times when he’ll pressure you into doing all sorts of dumb stuff for no actual reason (shoplifting, doing something weird or embarrassing in front of a large crowd, etc), and if you say no whether you think that he’s joking or being serious, he’ll double down and borderline threaten to do some horrible shit like it’s nothing. 

- He’ll usually threaten to do something to himself rather than you, since he knows that you’re more likely to take him seriously when he puts himself in danger, but threats directed towards you specifically aren’t unheard of. 

- In addition to bringing up your personal issues and insecurities as a cheap jab in arguments with you, he’d also use his own problems as ammunition against you in order to make you feel guilty. He’d accuse you of hating him and by extension, dating him, because of his mental problems, and say that, “he wouldn’t wanna date someone as stupid and mentally ill as him either”.
