PACIFIC RIM: UPRISING TRAILER 

apparently our high school, which is 96 years old and looks like a 16th century gothic castle (complete with lion gargoyles), has a fourth floor that no one really knew about until this year. no one knows how long it’s been in the building but from pictures it looks completely different than the rest and has a strange metal staircase in a spiral pattern. 

there is also a basement in the high school with a swimming pool but no one is allowed down there and it is starting to rot the first floor.

for a good while there was a nice elderly black man that would stand outside of random stores and street corners and dance to make people smile. however, in the past few months he has disappeared and is nowhere to be found.

we have a kapstone paper mill in our town and it is regularly normal but some days the smell is absolutely overwhelming and blankets the town like a thick fog.

the abandoned movie theater is blocked off to the public but i was talking to some girls from school about it who occasionally break in to chill what it is like on the inside, and they said that there is a giant, bottomless hole in the entrance’s floor so they have to tiptoe across a single plank of wood to get to the other side. 

fairly popular places in town will close down for literally no reason. 

one time a tornado came through our town and it destroyed the sonic drive-in and a car dealership next to it but no debris could be found. only the empty lots were there. they rebuilt the sonic in less than a month but the car rental lot was kept empty and now bored teenagers harp around it like vultures.

one time my grandmother saw an unidentified animal in our backyard. she thought it was a fox but when my dog barked at it, it stood up on its back legs and ran away.

fox and coyote sightings are becoming strangely frequent in one single area of town and no one knows why???? its like they all congregate near a horse stable by an old junkyard my cousin used to work at.

whenever a dog runs away from home they all end up coming to my house. every dog that gets loose.

my grandmother saw an unidentified bird in a tree and i still can’t figure out what kind it was based on her description. 

sometimes you can hear random gunshots and loud, unknown bestial screams in the uptown areas

my players: 

sokka barely even liked aang or trusted him but he was still about to go sail out and attack a fire nation ship to rescue him

aang was all :(( when they visited the southern air temple so sokka played that airball game with him to cheer him up and then got his ass kicked bc sokka cant airbend!!! and aang took complete advantage of that lmao

that one scene in book 3 where katara and toph are fighting and refusing to speak to each other and sokkas like I HAVE A GREAT IDEA and writes that fake apology letter and aangs like !!!! OMG UR SO SMART AND CLEVER anD INCREDIBLE!!! but it turns out that theyre both fools bc toph cant write

aang goes to sokka whenever he wants advice on How To Hit On Girls bc for whatever reason aang apparently thinks sokka is good with that (he is not) & sokka actually is weirdly supportive and hikes up a mountain just so that aang can pick some flowers

not exactly aang/sokka but sokka made/bought an armour for appa so that he’d be protected during the day of the black sun

actually their entire interaction during The Drill episode in book 2 where they both came up with the plan to take it down theyre both actually so clever 

sokka dressed up as aangs dad once and u know he was really Feeling that role

in the ep with bato when katara and sokka were leaving but then sokka was like…. no we cant leave… i miss dad but we Need to be with aang…. i cried a Little bit ngl

we just got an update and they had decided to get him a full allergy panel to find out what he’s allergic to

it’s people.

Who alway got in trouble? Me.

They would call my mother and she always came in and lectures my teachers and threatened to sue for making her miss work and treating me poorly.

She always taught my brothers to respect women. The only fights my brothers ever got in was defending women from someone else.

So naturally, I end up in the principal’s office, refusing to apologize. 

“He shouldn’t have put his hands on me and I wouldn’t have hit him!” That’s the only thing I was saying.

These people had the unfortunate luck of catching my dad at home, instead of my mom. So he comes fucking sauntering in there, like he’s Clint fucking Eastwood in some western movie and looks at me. 

“Melissa, did you punch him?” 

“Yes.” I said. 

“Why?” 

“Because he snapped my bra strap.” 

And he turns his squinty eyed glare to the principal and says, “You’re telling me my daughter is in trouble because that squirrely looking kid put his hands on her and she chose to defend herself? That’s what you are saying to me.” 

“Well, sir-” The man kind of stuttered because my dad is kind of intimidating in the quiet sort of way that kind of whispers in the back of your mind that this person could be dangerous. “Melissa did make it physical.” 

“No. That kid put his hands on my daughter. Are you saying my daughter cannot defend herself when some boy decides to put hands on her? Is that what you are teaching my girl?”
