when a trans woman says they hate drag they’re probably not talking about the history of it as an opportunity for trans women, especially twoc, to publicly celebrate their femininity. they’re talking about white cis misogynist men wearing us like a halloween costume and spitting on our heritage and getting praised by cis liberals for being “progressive”

it’s literally not that trans women want cis women to stop talking abt their genitals or w/e but like. could y'all do it in a way that doesn’t other trans women maybe like that’s what the issue is. like why can’t you just say “the vagina is characterized harmfully in these ways” w/o basically calling us men like is it really that hard to do. the issue here is that you’re placing the vagina as an image and issues associated w/ it at the pinnacle of feminist rhetoric is much different than including it among other topics in responding to a patriarchal, white supremacist society is two vastly different things and y'all are too smart to not understand the difference
