Silver is so confident and powerful

to me the rewind/play/fast-forward analogy shows how Silver relates to Sonic and Shadow

he's more blunt than Sonic, has more attitude than Sonic, more short tempered, more nature loving, more actively good than Sonic and he cares more than Sonic. like how fast-forward is play going harder Silver is like an extreme Sonic

BUT Silver’s also younger and more emotional than Sonic. Sonic is wise beyond his age and cool in most situations while Silver is naive and hotheaded. Sonic is care free while Silver is always caring about the world. so Silver being emotional also makes him different from Sonic

Silver cares SO MUCH that he's mission focused and takes things seriously like Shadow and he’s so emotional that he’s aggressive and has strong conviction like Shadow too
