Just so ya’ll know where this blog stands

He did not go into the Aokigahara forest as a cry for help, he went there to make a “ghost hunting” video.

He isn’t suicidal (yet), he made a joke of the whole video, he made jokes about the dead man.

He had absolutely no respect for the emotional turmoil that man must have felt in his life.

He didn’t take the death of a human being seriously. He made it about himself. How he’d never seen a dead person. How he’d stood next to a dead man.

He went off a marked path and filmed the man’s body up close. You’re not supposed to leave the path. That’s a rule. It’s a matter of public safety.

He then edited the video, and uploaded it with the sensational title “We found a body in Japan’s suicide forest!”

Okay, now, even if it’s fake (I believe it’s real, because I know for a fact Logan Paul is stupid and self-absorbed enough to do something like this), while it’s not entirely dissimilar from a skit you’d see in a comedy show like The Whitest Kids U Know (which I hated) or Mr. Show with Bob and David (which I have no opinion on), the way this situation is presented —if and only if it’s fake— is intensely distasteful. With skit comedy shows like Mr. Show, you know for a fact it’s fake. The joke wouldn’t be the dead man or suicide but the inhumanity that the character displays.

But I know this video isn’t fake. And that’s why it pisses me off. I didn’t hate Logan Paul before. He was just some annoying muscle-brained idiot kid before this. Now I actually hate him as a human person. The inhumanity Logan displayed juxtaposed with the reality of this video is irredeemably detestable.

I hope his entire career is stripped from him. I hope he ends up destitute, moving back in with his mother. I hope he loses muscle mass and gets fat. I hate him. I hate what he’s done. I hate what he stands for.

I can only give him this hypothetical grace: Had it been him up that tree, I hope whomever had found him had given him the compassion, respect, kindness, love, and solidarity that he neglected show to the poor man in his video.

I was hoping he would lose his subs and support for pulling this shit but it seems the kids still love him no matter what. That makes me so sad.
