Grace: What would you say to a business meeting? I have an interesting proposal for you.

Niklaus: Sounds intriguing.

“Pretty sure that if she was suspicious she wouldn’t have let us share the same bedroom” Sebastian chuckled, everything had seemed so important back then to keep a secret. Now they could just live their lives and be happy and it was so freeing. “So possessive, that’s so fucking hot. But trust me, I can’t stop gushing about you anyway so they all know I’m yours. Even the ones who come just to see me in a speedo” he teased, hoping it would get a small rise out of his boyfriend. After the accusation and the tension, Sebastian was suddenly very much in the mood for some fun. “Who ever said you were a better kisser than me huh?” he raised an eyebrow, then before he knew it he was being pulled down and his heart beat a little quicker and breath hitched in the passionate kiss. “Oh yeah? You planning on letting some of that anger out by reminding me just how much I belong to you?” he moaned softly, their bodies beginning to grind together as he lay on top of his clothed man, himself already naked. He was totally ready for the aggressive sexual side of his boyfriend, ready for it to be rough and hard and to be totally submissive to his man.

“Sorry to uh- disturb you but I’m going around to all the homes and businesses and making sure the smoke detectors are up to date and you’ve all got fire extinguishers.” Rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. “I can come back later if this is the wrong time for you.”

"I mean, I think my smoke detectors are all up to date, but I definitely don’t have any fire extinguishers in my house. Are we supposed to have some?” Niklaus furrowed his brows slightly and then shook his head. “No, no--- it’s fine. It’s a great time. Do you wanna come in?”

“Mmm I’m trying to use my telekenesis powers to move you out of the way. Is it working, yet?” Dylan peeked out of one eye as she wrinkled her nose a little.

"Definitely not working--- might need to practise a little more. Or y’know, just give me a little push out of the way instead.” Niklaus suggested jokingly.

Niklaus had spent the last two hours running errands, and doing a bit of Christmas shopping while he had some free time. He had to get presents for all his siblings, several friends and, of course, Sebastian and Alaia. He hadn’t ended up getting everyone’s gifts, but he’d gotten some....and that was a success in the blonde’s mind. He’d left most of the things he’d gotten in the trunk of his car and then decided to drive down to the swim centre to go meet up with Sebastian. The weather wasn’t ideal for swimming, but he knew Sebastian loved to practise whenever he got a chance--- and the indoor pools were heated anyway. Maybe Nik could use the spa while he waited for his boyfriend to finish his laps.

He arrived at the center after a five minute drive there and headed in to see if he could track down Sebastian. He knew he’d be in the water already, so he didn’t bother trying to text or call him to let him know he was coming down there. Instead, Niklaus just made his way towards the pools--- and almost instantly spotted his boyfriend. He didn’t say anything. He didn’t want to distract him while he was in the middle of doing a lap. Besides, the blonde was quite content just checking Sebastian out from where he stood.

“So do you, I don’t think I can remember a time when you didn’t say the right thing” Sebastian shrugged, “Except that time you told your mom that we were going to the movies, when we were actually just going to make out in your car but then she said she wanted to come too and we had to sit in the cinema for 2 hours with her. That was a mistake” he smirked at the memory. “I bruise so easily and you love to mark me up, we’re a perfect match” he groaned as his lower lip was deliberately bitten but it was a groan of pleasure more than pain. He loved that Klaus did that. “Nope, you’re not allowed to make out with someone that isn’t me anymore. Plus have you ever met anyone who’s a better kisser than me, papi” he joked back as they drifted towards the bed and he took place between his man’s legs. “Well how ever long it will take, I want to get started, I want everything with you Nikky.” he muttered, kissing him back, softly, slowly and lovingly. His hand came down to get rid of his towel so that he now sit in Nik’s lap, legs wrapped around his waist, naked body pressed up against his boyfriend’s clothed one.

"In my defence I really didn’t think she’d ask to tag along to the movies--- that’s the first time she ever did that. Maybe she was suspicious?” Niklaus teased, recalling the time it had happened. It hadn’t been funny at the time, but now....looking back on it, it was. His mother had cockblocked so badly. “Well duh. I like to make sure everyone knows you’re mine. Especially everyone who comes into the swim center....” he smirked when Sebastian groaned at the bite, resisting the urge to do it again just so he could hear that noise again. “I mean, I’m a better kisser than you. Does that count?” the blonde joked. The idea of sitting down and discussing a second child right now was out the window as soon as Sebastian climbed onto Niklaus’ lap. It could wait. Right now Nik just really wanted to blow off some steam--- especially after how worked up he’d gotten just moments ago. He slowly leaned back onto the bed, pulling his boyfriend down with him as their lips connected in a passionate kiss. “That shower was fucking pointless. You’re going to get all sweaty again now...” the blonde teased, indirectly hinting to his boyfriend that he wanted more than just a makeout session right now.

“Isn’t that what your boyfriend is supposed to do? Make you feel better all the time?” Sebastian rolled his eyes as his favourtie smirk came back. He was happy that the moment of tension had evaporated and Nik’s big hands were running through his wet hair. “I mean or you could just make sure my neck is always covered in love bites, then everyone will know I belong to you” he teased because they both knew he would never get a tattoo. Kissing Klaus made the world stop every time, even over a decade after their first kiss which was the biggest moment in Seb’s entire life. “I mean, comparing notes about how good of a kisser I am is pretty hot” he teased back, “But these people are important in my life and I want them to see how happy I am with my future husband” he grinned, he wanted to jump into Nik’s arms and wrap his legs around his waist. His favourite position to be in, but his towel was preventing that just now. “How about we spend the evening getting that next kid on the way, huh? You ready for a mini version of me in 9 months?”

"Well you certainly do a good job of it.” Niklaus nodded gently, his usual smirk still remaining on his face as Sebastian spoke about covering his neck with love bites. “Don’t tempt me, babe. You know I’ll do it. And you bruise easily---” he teased back, mumbling the last part to his sentence against his boyfriend’s lips. He deliberately chose to bite down on Seb’s lower lip at the mention of comparing notes about kissing with his boyfriend’s old college roommate. “Or how about I make out with your friend and then I’ll compare notes on who I think is the better kisser---” the blonde joked. He pulled away from the kiss for a moment and then moved his hands down to Seb’s waist, guiding him over to the bed. “Okay, okay--- we’ll do dinner tomorrow night. And I’ll try and play nicely and avoid any awkward silences.” he’d do anything for Sebastian, after all. Sitting down on the bed, Niklaus pulled his boyfriend closer so he was standing between his legs. “It’s cute that you think it’ll take nine months...it’’ll be a longer process for us, my love. But you know I’m more than ready to have a baby with you...” he nodded, leaning up to kiss him.

“In many ways it’s kind of a compliment…that you care so much about me that you get this angry at anyone else showing the tiniest interest” Sebastian muttered softly, in a way trying to lighten the mood. “I know, and I trusted you, didn’t mean I wasn’t ready to slap some girls in the face for the way they watched you in class” he shrugged with a soft laugh, memories of high school with Nik were always happy ones. “You’re the one who made me this sappy” he scoffed as the space between them vanished and he lifted up to peck his boyfriend’s nose, forgetting he was still wet from his shower.

“I know you trust me babe and I know this all comes from a place of love. Alwyn and I just have one of those friendships which is a bit flirty, but you know I am 100% yours. Hell I’ll even get a tattoo that says property of Klaus” he laughed because he was terrified of needles, so the thought of a tattoo was funny to him. Then they were kissing and all the tension evaporated, Seb moaned ever so softly into the man’s lips. “Yeah, I’ll see when he’s free. Tj also wants to stop by and see the place I’m now living in. You remember my roommate from college?”

"You’re just saying that to try and make me feel better.” Niklaus scoffed lightly, but smirked at his boyfriend nonetheless. “Sounds like you’re the jealous one, babe. Not me.” the blonde added as he spoke about the way girls used to watch him in class. His smirk turned into more of a genuine smile as Sebastian pecked his lips, hand coming up to run through his boyfriends wet hair. His brows raised at the mention of getting a tattoo, a laugh soon following because he knew how Sebastian felt about needles. “Yeah, okay. Get that tattoo’d on your ass. That’ll keep me happy.” the blonde played along jokingly, falling easily into a kiss. He only pulled away from the kiss when Sebastian mentioned Tj, and his brow raised slightly. “You mean the guy that you just told me you made out with in college? Oh yeah sure. Bring him over. That sounds like a fun night waiting to happen. We can compare notes on how good of a kisser you are--- that’s good conversation to have over dinner, right?” he spoke in sarcasm, teasing his boyfriend.

“We’re not teenagers anymore Klaus, you don’t need to worry about the occasional person flirting with me. I love you, I live with you, I want to marry you and have kids with you and be yours forever” he said, the ease in which it all rolled off his tongue evident. “I know exactly what is in your head right now baby, I have had to watch dozens of girls and guys go after you, you were the hottest guy at our school and everyone thought you were single. Even now people can’t help but obsess over you I’m sure. But I’ve come to realise that none of that matters because you chose me. And there is nobody in this world that I could ever choose over you. I’ve won the game of life here, I got the best boyfriend available.” he hoped these words were sinking in for Nik because he meant every one of them. Sebastian looked up into Nik’s eyes with his own and blushed ever so slightly. “Yeah…” he had always assumed Nik knew. “I mean, I made out with Tj once but we were drunk and I was getting over you. But that just made me realise I might be able to be with different women, when it comes to men there is only one that I actually want, only one that makes my heart beat faster and only one that I’ll ever be with…you” he breathed it was strange admitting all this. “You can meet him, for sure, we could go for dinner or something? He’s really nice I promise”

"I wish I could control that part of me, but I can’t.” no matter how old they were, or whether they were married or not--- he’d still always feel jealous over anyone flirting with Sebastian. A small smile played on the blonde’s lips as Sebastian continued to speak. “You know I only had eyes for you in high school....” hell, he only had eyes for Sebastian now as well. He hated how good Sebastian was with his words at times. How he always knew exactly what to say to calm Nik down, or reassure him in the times he needed it. “You’re so fucking sappy sometimes...” Nik started, closing the space between them, both his hands going up to grab Sebastian’s waist so he could pull him closer. “But I love that about you.” he added softly.

There was real dichotomy here as Seb felt a little good at the fact that Nik had clearly never snooped on his phone before because he forgot he had access. However the statement was also ridiculously intrusive. “So you just want to read back through all my messages with someone? Yeah really sounds like you fucking trust me” Sebastian rolled his eyes and shook his head, hoping that Klaus would be able to see the contradiction in all of that. He took a couple of steps closer to his boyfriend as the man tossed the phone onto the bed, “Babe, you saw one message which was just a cheeky joke and you have got yourself all worked up and shouting at me. You are quite obviously jealous and you need to realise that, it’s okay though, you don’t need to deny it. I know you better than anyone and I know when you are jealous.” he was now close enough that he could reach out and hold his lover’s hand. “I won’t be upset if you go through my phone, Al is flirty he can’t help it and we joke around and tease each other about how great we are. But he is fully aware that I am so deeply and madly in love with you that I would rather die than disappoint you. Klaus, you’re the only man I’ve ever been with, and the only person I’ve ever loved. And honestly if you want to be jealous of anyone it should be the middle aged moms of the kids in my swim class, not Alwyn, he’s a good egg” he was looking up into his boyfriend’s face. “And what does it matter if you don’t trust other people, trusting me should be enough to know nothing will ever happen.”

As Sebastian stepped closer to him, Niklaus remained where he was and momentarily stared at the phone he’d thrown on the bed. “There’s a difference between a cheeky joke and someone flirting with you, Sebastian. And you said it yourself--- this Al guy is flirty.” he felt his blood beginning to boil again when Sebastian told him he was being jealous. Not at Sebastian this time, but at himself. He hated feeling this way. He hated that he was so incredibly possessive of his boyfriend. He’d lost him once before, he didn’t want that happening again. Especially since the last time they broke up when they were teenagers had absolutely destroyed him. Niklaus wasn’t insecure about many things, but there was always that thought in the back of his head that maybe one day Sebastian would find someone better. He knew it was a stupid thought, but that was just the way his mind worked. His expression softened completely when Sebastian spoke again, a little surprised by his words. “I’m the only man you’ve been with?” he hadn’t known that little piece of information, but in a weird way it made him feel relieved. “I didn’t know that...” he paused for a moment and then heaved out a sigh. “Okay, but I wanna meet him. If he’s your friend then I’d like to get to know him as well.” 

Sebastian instantly knew what was happening in Niklaus’ head when he turned to look at him. There had been a few instances when he had seen the look in his eyes like he had now. When a girl at high school had asked Seb to prom because nobody knew he was dating Nik, or the time they had gone to a gay bar together and a man had been flirting with him. “Hey” the swimmer said, firmly, almost uncharacteristically, “Don’t do this Klaus, don’t let those thoughts consume you” he was calm and collected, looking up at his boyfriend and doing his best to keep him grounded. Looking between the phone and his man, he weighed everything up in his head.

“Do you really want to be that person Nik, putting me under a microscope?” Sebastian breathed, he knew Al was very flirty over text and Seb teased back sometimes. But he knew that Nik was aware he was the only man for him. “You can unlock it yourself, your thumb print is saved as a trusted one so…” he shrugged, he wasn’t going to stop Nik from reading it if that’s what he needed to do. Besides, most of the text messages were him gushing about his boyfriend anyway. “Sometimes your jealousy is hot, sometimes it’s worrying. Do you not trust me? Or do you think I’m naive and dumb like everyone else?”

"I’m not letting any thoughts consume me, I’m simply asking you to unlock your damn phone.” it was obvious that Niklaus had never gone through his boyfriend’s phone before because he’d totally forgotten than his finger print had been added to the device. “All I wanna do is see the messages your friend’s been sending you--- the one that popped up on your lock screen seemed a little too friendly for my liking.” even after Sebastian reminded him that his finger print would open up the phone, Niklaus hesitated for a moment. If he went ahead and read the messages and saw something he didn’t like, he’d be furious. And if he read the messages and realised he’d been overreacting then Sebastian would feel as if Nik didn’t trust him.

“You think I’m jealous? I’m not jealous, Sebastian. I just don’t like it when other people are sending you messages like this---” he’d only technically seen one message, but that was enough to get his blood boiling with jealousy. Jealousy he was still in denial about. “I trust you. Of course I fucking trust you--- it’s the other people I don’t trust.” he tossed the phone onto the bed, a little aggressively. “And you’re going to just get upset with me if I do go through your phone so just forget about it. Do whatever you want.” his hands went up in mock surrender.

Granted Sebastian hadn’t spent lots of time being single or alone, at college he had been with his best friend Tj sharing a dorm and then after university he generally went from girlfriend to girlfriend fairly quickly. However he had never liked the times being alone, thankfully now he didn’t need to have that ever again. He would always have Nik to come home to and to spend time with on weekends and such. They had settled back into living with each other fairly quickly and the last few weeks had been absolute bliss for the swimmer. Today they had planned to do some cleaning around the house and Seb had decided to take a quick shower. 

He was enjoying the hot water when he heard his boyfriend call out and turned the water off so he could hear better. “Sending me messages?” Seb thought for a moment, obviously he couldn’t see his phone so he would have to guess. “If it’s not Tj then it’s probably just Alwyn. He’s that guy with the red hair that I introduced you to at my competition last year” he called out from the bathroom. He hoped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around his waist before heading to the bedroom. “Why? Is he okay?”

Niklaus picked on the phone from the bedside table and turned around on the spot when he heard Sebastian speaking again. “Alwyn?” he couldn’t put a face to the name, but Seb probably had introduced the two of them at some point in time. Still, Niklaus felt a pang of something running through his body. Niklaus never liked to admit to being a jealous guy, but it was obvious that he was one. Something as simple as a text from another guy, to his boyfriend could very easily set the blonde off. And right now that’s exactly what was happening. “Is he okay? I don’t know, Sebastian....is he okay?” the blonde questioned as his boyfriend stepped out of the bathroom. Niklaus held the phone out towards Sebastian.

“Unlock your phone so I can read the other messages. And then I’ll tell you if this little friend of yours is okay or not.” you could hear it in his tone, see it in his eyes....the jealousy slowly but surely filling his entire body. And sure, he trusted Sebastian with his life....it was other people he didn’t trust with his boyfriend.
