❝What it counts as doesn’t really matter since it’s terrible either way. Everything else is good reading material though, especially Brave New World.❞

     {For Nikki, she didn't really care if a book was considered good reading material or not. It was the entertainment factor that mattered to her.}

❝If it was so terrible, I doubt the multitude of educational systems across the country would force their students to read his works. But whatever, to each her own, I suppose. What are some of your favourites?❞

Friendly:

"You look a little lost. Do you need directions?" "That’s an awesome outfit." "How’s the chicken? I can’t decide whether to order it or not." "Excuse me, I think you dropped this." "I don’t know a single person here…"

Flirty:

"Wow, I’ve never seen an angel before…" "You’re the hottest person in this place." "I saw that. You just checked me out." "Hey, can I get your number?" *wolf whistle*

Confrontational:

"You’re in my seat." "What are you staring at?" "You just stepped on my toe!" "Who do you think you are?" "Keep it down, will you?"

Dramatic:

    ❝ i see. that must be     fun, traveling a lot.  ❞

( daphne figures she could do the same — travel, that is. but she has duties she must attend to. one day, maybe ; after she finished college, surely. )

     {Perhaps a normal person would miss living a sedentary life, but Nikki doesn't. She'd lived too long a life staying in one place.}

❝Yeah, actually. I was in South America for a while.❞

     {She nodded again, smiling lightly at the other.}

❝Thanks.❞

          ( she’ll arch a brow & purse pale lips, waiting for the other female             to say or do something. this was, in lucinda’s mind, her game. )

     {She scoffed at the girl's words, a half smirk playing on her lips.}

     {She shrugged lightly, looking at the girl's hair.}

❝Besides, I have to forgive someone who reminds me of my style when I was sixteen.❞

❝Well … can you list your top five favorites?❞

❝The Harry Potter series for obvious reasons, Thirteen Reasons Why, Things Fall Apart, Brave New World and Macbeth -- does that count as a book since it's a play?❞

    ❝ uh. okay ? ❞ ( she starts to spin the globe, though it’s obvious she has no intention of putting in much effort. …but at least she was doing it at all, right? daphne then stops the globe, finger in place. her eyes shift from the object to the girl, then back to the sphere. )

     {She nodded as she put away the globe.}

❝It's how I determine where I'm going to go next. So many places in this world to go to, I can't always choose which one I want to be in.❞

❝I suggest getting out of here while you can. This town isn't bad, but movement is key for survival.❞

     {She laughed anyway, though lightly.}

❝But I actually wouldn't want to act. I feel like I'd spend too many days trying to wake up at ungodly hours.❞

     {She said, pausing a bit to try to figure out if she can at least pick one.}

❝I have a lot of favourites.❞

     {She followed the other's eyes over to the travel magazine, nodding at the question.}

❝Yeah, I usually leave every two weeks.❞
