NijiHimu Headcanons

Not matter how hard he tries, Nijimura would always, without fail, fall asleep before the countdown on New Year’s Eve. 

When Himuro saw old photos of Nijimura, he cried. It wasn’t because Nijimura was a cute little boy, or because of the ridiculous outfits he wore as a child. No. It was because Nijimura was blond in his first year of junior high. 

Nijimura almost fainted when Himuro found a photo. He thought he had gotten rid of all of them, but apparently his evil siblings had kept a copy behind his back and shared it with Himuro. Seeing the photo in Himuro’s hand made him want to dig a hole and die there. 

Needless to say, that was the hardest Niji had ever seen Himuro laugh.

“You...look like...a pudding!!! PUDDING HEAD!!!”

Himuro thinks it’s kind of hot when Nijimura swears in English, but he doesn’t get as turned on as Niji does when he hears Himuro swear in English. 

Sometime in their first semester of university, Nijimura started working part-time as a barista at a cafe near campus. 

After the two started dating, Himuro’s friends started calling Nijimura “the bae-rista” to try and tease them.

“Hey, is the bae-rista working today?”

“Want to grab some coffee? Let’s go pay the bae-rista a visit.”

“Saw the bae-rista this morning. He gave me a free coffee!”

When Nijimura graduated from university, his entire family actually attended the ceremony, which was a huge shock to him because even his father came. He didn’t expect the man to come because of his poor health, but the doctors had given him permission to go back to Japan for a bit. He had to be in a wheelchair though.

“Of course I’d come! I want to see how fine of a man my son has grown into!” his father laughed when Nijimura had first questioned his presence. 

Himuro and Nijimura would totally adopt a girl later on in the future once they’ve settled down, and they’d totally spoil her because she’s their little princess. Of course, Alex would dote on her too as her godmother. 

Nijimura would be super protective of her. Himuro would as well, but he wouldn’t be as obvious and would know to keep his distance when appropriate. Though, if anyone hurt his daughter in any way, Mr. Beauty would be ready to fuck shit up. 

And since they’re both protective of her, they’d teach her some self defense moves once she’s a bit older because why not? Their daughter would be able to perform a perfect roundhouse kick by the age of 10. Of course, they would teach her basketball if she was interested. Alex would be delighted to give her some pointers.

To Nijimura’s shock though, she develops a crush on one of the Generation of Miracles.

“It’s just a crush, Shuu. I’m sure you’ve had one or two before.” Himuro would tell him. Nijimura looked horrified.
