doing a thing

this weekend i came out to my church like just me and a microphone in front of 60 students telling em all about being bisexual and christian, and what they can do to be better allies etc

i’m going to an unknown destination in wales this evening with a whole bunch of students from my church. bit scared cause i’ve only gone away with my church at home before, often with my mum, and i don’t know anyone that well from woodies. hoping it goes well and i make some friends, also giving a talk on being an lgbt christian so hoping (praying) that goes well also

i think the only reason i go by ellie instead of eleanor to the majority of ppl is because i hate ppl shortening eleanor to ‘elle’ (or ‘el’, the absolute worst)

i went to a careers/alumni evening yesterday and it gave me some confidence in what i wanna do after my bachelors (i.e. probably further study, maybe another gap year working in between) and that was great except i have to actually get through final year first and that includes the first bit of assessed work this term which is my presentation on friday.

feeling v overwhelmed at the moment and i know i’m making it worse for myself by not doing the work i need to do and instead bingewatching taskmaster but you know what????
