Most important lesson I learned in the past year is, don’t let anyone turn you cruel. No matter how badly you wanna give the world a taste of its own bitter medicine. It’s never worth losing yourself over.

Someday soon you’ll be all cozied up in your favorite sweatshirt, a warm beverage cupped in your hands, your favorite fall scented candle flickering nearby, watching the colorful leaves dance in the breeze on a crisp autumn day, and everything will feel okay.

stop waiting on men to validate you. you’re pretty. you’re smart. you’re interesting. you’re worth time & effort. you deserve to be loved. you need to know these things and truly believe them. don’t wait on some man to come along and tell you.

Sometimes God redeems your story by surrounding you with people who need to hear your past so it doesn’t become their future.
