“Because he’s mine!” She roars, fist slamming on her desk, the bottle of fine energon wine fall and smashes on the floor, seeping into the expensive carpet and staining the fabric.

“Have you ever been so close to death that you felt its very breath on your neck cables? So helpless under the stare of another it paralyzed you to your very spark? That moment when time stands still and there are no barrier between you and it?” She clutches at her false arm and grips it tightly, feeling the tremors run down her shoulder at the memory.

“I have never been left so exposed before, torn open by another stronger than I. Every battle I have won, every struggle I have overcome and this will be no different. I may have been ordered by another to capture him, but I am the one who has laid claim to that beast’s life and I will decide when his spark will snuff out of existence. He took more than just my arm that day. He took something no one else has ever laid claimed to and I will return that gesture tenfold.”

Her spark flutters at the memory of those otherworldly optics, the colour of violet ribbons dancing across an aurora sky. Something to admire with one’s eye, but can never be touched.

“Until then I will warn every bounty hunter who comes within spitting distance of him will feel the bite of my blade. Anyone brave enough to capture him first will suffer my wrath as I reclaim what is mine. No one steals from a Star Seeker and lives, and everyone in the cosmos will know that I alone will own him.”

The femme gazes down at her palm, remembering the touch of silky white strands being embarrassed under her palm near a blazing campfire under a clear night sky.

Princesa “Baby” Jaegerjaquez is Grimmjow’s only offspring – co-fathered by his mate, Gravitas – who came into existence over thirty years post-TYBW.

She is a fusion of both organic and mechanoid genetics as a result of both fathers touching a protoform a the same time, which absorbed Grimmjow’s DNA and Gravitas’ CNA. The result was a female infant who appeared to have inherited most of Grimmjow’s physical features, particularly his arctic blue hair and small eyebrows. However, it later became clear that Gravitas’ genetics had also influenced her appearance when she opened her eyes, revealing lilac irises. As weeks passed, a light purple filigree marking began to show beneath her right eye – a trait passed down from one of her grandfathers.

Due to her heritage, Baby is able to travel at will between four dimensions (the living realm, Hueco Mundo, Soul Society and the Dead Universe). She also inherited both fathers’ nigh insatiable hungers, able to feed upon Hollows, Arrancar, Souls, void creatures and human or animal flesh. During the period in which she was unable to consume solid food, Gravitas fed her on his own blood.

Despite his initial aversion to her presence, Grimmjow is the father she forges the closest bond with; as an infant, she calmed significantly more quickly in his presence, and he grows intensely protective and possessive over her. This initially manifests itself as him disallowing anyone else to touch or hold her (including Gravitas, for a little while), concealing her existence from most, and later murdering any lovers she may bring home.
