being trapped in a vampire's clutches and getting fed on so often you feel weak all the time and have no hope of escaping

getting captured by a murderous stalker who kills anyone who tries to help you and says it's your fault for putting them in danger

an imprisoned monster sealed in a crypt, covered in bindings to keep them from breaking loose and wreaking havoc, pretending to be human and waiting patiently for an oblivious adventurer like you to take off the mask

a disobedient captive who tried to use their teeth to escape who gets muzzled and treated like a rabid animal as punishment

there may be a small part deep in their mind that takes pleasure in destroying something as sweet as you in such a twisted method, but otherwise they're utterly convinced that you two are a normal, loving couple and that you enjoy the "games" they play with you

you must like the drowning game, because you stop struggling so hard after a while

the cutting game makes you happy because you're so sweet and polite, nicely asking them to stop

and hide-and-seek must be your favorite, because you start it all the time! they'll come home and you won't be in your room, and they'll track you to the spot under the bed or the back door or outside in the forest. you're very good at hiding, but they always find you in the end, and you make such a cute face when you lose

plus, there's the pretend-punishment afterwards for leaving the house

When he meets you he tries to be nice and take you on dates, and then he gets more and more committed, talking to you often and watching you and giving you things

Then after a night that you can't remember so well you wake up in a strange place with no windows and you're a bit shorter than before

He shows up and explains that he wanted to keep you in this body for a little while to "play" with you

He grabs your hands and pulls your hair to demonstrate your heightened sensitivity and your arms are much weaker than before, unable to push him away

When you playfully try to squirm out of his grasp he giggles and asks you where you're going

You run down the hall away from him to entice him and get a good distance before being caught by a snare trap like a little rabbit

Then he quickly catches up to you and moves on top of you and bends your wrist and squeezes your neck and it hurts a lot and you can't do anything, your new body doesn't obey you and he easily overpowers you

He says he loves the doll body because it's so easy to "take care of"

You put on your best scared face and ask him what he means and he just smiles

And he starts touching your chest and thighs and squeezing them and telling you how adorable you are and keeps kissing your cheeks and forehead

Your chest is so traitorously receptive to his touch and in the doll body your flustered look is obvious

After you struggle and endure for a while he pinches a spot on the back of your neck and you collapse, unable to move your limbs but very able to feel with them

A monstrous lover who takes your futile struggles as a sign of willing submission, an invitation to ignore your pleads, not noticing that all humans are as weak as you are

An immortal being obsessed with protecting your fragile human heart from the outside world, slowly isolating you from others and slaughtering all potential threats, which of course includes people who like you too much

A cruel telepathic master who delights in threatening you, describing and demonstrating so vividly what they want to do to you that you're in tears before they've even touched you

A dream-eater that teases you about the memories they pulled out of your head, ripping holes in your memory and gaslighting you into confusing dreams with reality so they can easily overpower you in your confusion and play the savior once they're finished

A sickly, neurotic entity that can only show love through violence, carefully training you to accept their affection and making you feel guilty for pushing them away, asking you why you don't want to be loved

Why didn't they take someone better, or more attractive? You've never been the one chosen by others, you were the outcast who deserved to be-

"LIES," they hiss, "lies fed to you by cowards and hypocrites, lies born of jealousy and hatred." Their raspy voice trembles with rage and madness.

"You are the ever-north star, the reason the sun rises and seasons pass, the center of the web of thought, and if any rabid hound told you otherwise I would rip its throat out to end its pathetic baying."

Their hands are firmly on your shoulders, still shaking with emotion, and then they're moving down your arms and wrapping around your waist and pulling you into a tight, clingy, inescapable embrace. The faint, sweet scents of dreams and flowers curl around you like ink in water.
