The two men then beat him nearly to death, gouged out his eye, shot him in the head, and then threw his body, tied to the cotton-gin fan with barbed wire, into the river

Young says he was abruptly approached out of the darkness by men in plainclothes with guns. Without identifying themselves, according to Young, they opened fire. Â Without any other recourse he dropped to the ground while being sprayed with bullets.
âI laid down âcause they were shooting. I couldnât do anything. I put my hands on top of my head. I could feel the bullet passing my head. I almost diedâŚ. I didnât do anything wrong,â Young Said.

A San Francisco jury today ruled in favor of a white, former transit officer who fatally shot an unarmed, black man in an infamous killing captured on cellphone cameras. The federal jury awarded no damages to the father of Oscar Grant III, killed by a single shot to the back from BART Officer Johannes Mehserle early on Jan. 1, 2009 in Oakland.
  Imani Hicks-  We need black people on the grand jury! The grand jury and the justice decide the fate of our black victims more than their lawyers do. Lets get the grand jury full of black people so their murderers will no longer walk free while they lay in a casket under the earth! There are requirements you have to meet to get on the grand jury which I will post once I gather all of them.
This made me cry because the truth hurts, also, I didnât even know about some of the others who murdered, I never heard of them or saw them on the news or in any articles. I donât want these victims to be forgotten or have more black people join them. We need more black people on the grand jury, new legislation to prevent the death of unarmed, innocent, black people, Â and we need murderers to be held accountable for their actions regardless of the race of their victims . Police officers should have body cameras, one on the front and one on the back, Â guns with rubber bullets ONLY, they should be given a psychology test to see if they are prejudice , racist, irrational, or mentally unstable, and they should be held accountable for their actions, MURDER IS MURDER
If you want justice for them you would reblog and spread the word so more people can understand the importance of the grand jury and what is happening to our people. Iâm not doing this to get likes on it, likes donât raise awareness or  spread the message, only reblogs do! The Bostom Bomber and The Colorado Movie shooter got their day in court ,but these unarmed, innocent black men did not, they were shot and killed before they had the opportunity to step foot  in a court room , before they were read their Miranda rights, before they were given a fighting chance to prove their innocence!
