             𝐅𝐄𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑   hold him close, and then intertwine their fingers, perhaps elijah was getting ahead of himself. a giggle emitted past that of glossed lips, he basked underneath the compliments the son of erebus directed his way , and to have deimos’ attention, he couldn’t help but gain a sense of confidence. his eyes darkening slightly as he freed his hand to play with the fabric of the other’s blazer, and then only to wrap his own arms around the other’s neck.  pulling himself even closer–as if that was possible.  and, it was a soft hum that made its way into the air . his gaze flickering back to the other’s visage, as a smirk played upon his features.  ❝   i had to dress to impress, and i see you surely did as well.  ❞   head tilting ever so slightly , he admired the way deimos’ looked from this angle. licking his lips , he couldn’t help his mind from wandering. ❝  i’m happy you like it, though. maybe i’ll wear red more often  ❞  he shook his head as something else came to mind. and, using his tiptoes to reach the other’s ear, he spoke so only he could hear.  ❝  but i’m sure it would look better off. ❞ his hands were on the other again, lips hovering dangerously close to his neck. ❝  so why not help me out of it. ❞

         « ♡ »     𝑻𝑯𝑬𝑰𝑹  𝑪𝑶𝑵𝑭𝑬𝑺𝑺𝑰𝑶𝑵  ,  𝑰𝑭  𝑻𝑯𝑨𝑻  𝑪𝑶𝑼𝑳𝑫  count  as  a  confession  ,  was  still  playing  in  deimos’  mind  .  despite  the  lies  and  bad  things  that  happened  that  day  ,  he  knew  now  --- -  knew  that  his  feelings  were  not  ignored  ,  but  the  only  reason  why  he  hasn’t  mentioned  anything  yet  was  because  he  wanted  to  do  right  by  elijah  .  he  wanted  to  confess  properly  ,  to  let  him  know  how  he  felt  when  he  wasn’t  trapped  in  another’s  body  .  so  to  have  eli  so  close  ,  looking  this  good  was  truly  a  torture  for  the  son  of  erebus  ,  when  all  he  could  think  of  was  how  his  lips  would  feel  against  the  other’s  .  and  it  seemed  that  it  would  only  get  harder  ,  if  he  would  take  in  consideration  the  expression  of  his  best  friend’s  face  .  goodness  gracious  .  tattooed  hands  rested  on  the  smaller  demigod’s  hips  ,  fingers  digging  into  his  flesh  ,  holding  him  as  close  as  possible  .  head  was  filled  with  lots  of  things  ,  not  one  proper  for  their  surroundings  .  ‘  if  you  are  impressed  ,  then  it  means  my  intentions  worked  ,  ’  he  winked  ,  a  relaxed  smirk  tugging  at  his  lips  ,  while  he  gently  pushed  elijah  against  a  wall  ,  without  moving  away  from  him  .  the  demigod’s  words  --- -  whispered  into  his  ear  had  deimos  curse  under  his  breath  ,  eyes  getting  darker  as  he  tried  bury  the  images  eli  planted  into  his  mind  .  ‘  by  the  gods  ,  peach  .  are  you  trying  to  kill  me  ??  ’  he  choked  out  a  laughter  ,  despite  the  sudden  desire  to  take  elijah  away  and  get  rid  of  that  suit  ,  as  he  asked  .  ‘  i  have  a  surprise  for  you  ,  so  let  me  do  that  first  and  if  you  still  want  me  to  take  the  suit  of  after  i’m  done  ,  i  will  gladly  do  it  .  ’

          𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐋𝐘 𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐇𝐈𝐒   pajamas , it was with hair half damp that the son of eros sought out the warmth of the fireplace.  having just taken a shower , most of the demigods were making their way to bed. and, after a day filled with holiday activities, it was understandable that they would be tired, but with the holidays just around the corner, perhaps elijah was growing restless. nights becoming harder to fall asleep too. it was for that reason he made his way to the common space. the crackling of the fire putting him at ease , but it was as he caught sight of someone sitting on the couch, that a smile seemed to blossom across his visage. quietly, he approached from behind. only making himself known once he laced his arms around the other’s neck. draping himself over the sofa in the process , while pressing his face into the male’s shoulder.   ❝  deimos rhee, isn’t it past your bed time , ❞  he teased with muffled words, not caring to move from his position as didn’t feel like separating from deimos.   ❝  i’m happy i found you here.  ❞ 

          « ♡ »     𝑾𝑰𝑻𝑯  𝑬𝑽𝑬𝑹𝒀𝑶𝑵𝑬  𝑮𝑶𝑰𝑵𝑮  𝑻𝑶  𝑩𝑬𝑫  after  a  full  day  of  winter  activities  ,  deimos  found  himself  enjoying  the  little  peace  and  quiet  that  the  common  space  provided  .  he  was  already  dressed  into  pajamas  ,  hair  still  wet  from  the  shower  he  took  earlier  and  a  notebook  was  resting  on  his  knees  .  he  wanted  to  finish  the  song  he  was  writing  for  elijah  until  the  masquerade  ball  ,  so  he  could  make  the  son  of  eros  a  surprise  .  humming  the  melody  ,  he  almost  had  a  heart  attack  when  he  felt  someone  hugging  him  and  his  hands  barely  grabbed  onto  the  notebook  ,  only  to  quickly  have  the  shadows  take  it  away  ,  not  wanting  elijah  to  see  what  he  was  doing  .  ‘  i  could  ask  you  the  same  thing  ,  elijah  ryu  .  why  are  you  up  still  ??  ’  he  asked  ,  not  thinking  twice  before  pulling  the  smaller  demigod  into  his  lap  ,  holding  him  close  to  his  chest  .  he  sighed  softly  ,  lips  brushing  over  the  strands  of  blonde  hair  .  ‘  are  you  alright  ??  ’

           𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐉𝐀𝐇 𝐇𝐀𝐃  𝐆𝐎𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐍   to the event early, having planned a little mischief for the night that was about to unfold. and, he made his way around the room, talking and socializing with familiar and new faces alike. however, he was taken by surprise when he’d crashed into another, automatically going to apologize before his gaze met the image of his longtime friend. instantly, a smile tupped at the corner of his lips, his tongue lightly grazing them over as he took in deimos’ appearance. with his hands briefly brushing across his chest, eli pulled the other into a hug before his brain could even register to speak.  ❝   well, looks like i fell right into your arms.  aren’t I happy to see you , too.  ❞  eli chuckled before pulling himself away.  ❝  but,  look who is showing up fashionably late—-or wait, maybe i just showed up fashionably, early.  i really like these   ❞  eli went to take the other’s hand, playing with the rings on his fingers. 

          « ♡ »     𝑻𝑯𝑬  𝑴𝑶𝑴𝑬𝑵𝑻  𝑯𝑬  𝑺𝑨𝑾  𝑬𝑳𝑰𝑱𝑨𝑯  ,  deimos  couldn’t  help  but  grin  widely  ,  his  arms  wrapping  easily  around  the  other  demigod’s  body  ,  holding  him  close  to  his  body  .  he  wondered  for  a  moment  if  eli  was  tipsy  already  ,  seeing  him  so  flirty  ,  but  by  the  way  his  heart  was  beating  at  the  sudden  attention  his  best  friend  gave  him  ,  the  son  of  erebus  didn’t  find  the  heart  to  complain  .  nor  did  he  want  to  .  ‘  well  ,  i  do  hope  you  are  happy  to  see  me  .  ’  he  grinned  ,  feeling  the  little  gift  box  heavy  in  his  pocket  .  the  demigod  almost  wanted  to  give  eli  his  present  in  that  moment  ,  but  he  assumed  waiting  until  later  wouldn’t  be  that  bad  ,  considering  his  plans  for  that  night  .  snorting  ,  he  shook  his  head  as  he  looked  down  at  their  hands  ,  easily  intertwining  them  together  .  ‘  you  look  so  so  so  good  ,  peach  .  red  suits  you  .  ’  gods  ,  he  was  so  gone  .

          dances were great and all but for most of the time they were a drag. especially when they were called balls instead or masquerade themed. so, of course, she had to do something to pass the time. unfortunately, the only thing she could think of was a game she played with others during sophia’s last party. she walked up to the nearest person with her tray of drinks and gave them a mischievous look,   ❝ ready for truth, dare, or drink part two? ❞   at this point it should just be a tradition. that’s what she would call it, at least.

          « ♡ »     𝑪𝑯𝑨𝑹𝑳𝑨'𝑺  𝑽𝑶𝑰𝑪𝑬  𝑺𝑬𝑵𝑻  𝑯𝑰𝑴  𝑫𝑶𝑾𝑵  the  memory  lane  ,  a  grin  stretching  across  his  lips  as  eyes  took  in  the  tray  with  drinks  .  ‘  are  we  ever  ready  with  you  around  ??  i  think  not  .  ’  he  snorted  ,  tilting  his  head  while  giving  charla  an  appreciative  look  .  ‘  you  look  very  good  ,  by  the  way  .  how  did  the  boys  react  ??  ’  he  asked  ,  wiggling  his  eyebrows  suggestively  at  the  demigoddess  .  ‘  anyway  ,  you  already  know  i  will  pick  dare  ,  so  let’s  spice  things  a  little  and  go  with  truth  for  the  first  round  .  ’

“Maybe I am. So what?” He didn’t mind being biased towards Violet. The closer they got, the easier it was for him, and whenever they were alone, he didn’t hold back in showing her just how biased he could be. He doesn’t remember exactly when they had started making eyes at each other, but Thorn wasn’t about to stop. He didn’t want to. He’s listening when she explains about the strawberry rolls, but he’d be lying if he said he wasn’t distracted by how close they were, and how receptive she seemed to be towards his advances. He smirks at her question, leaning in closer so that his lips brushed hers lightly as he spoke. “I’m sure you can take a guess.”

         « ♡ »     𝑾𝑯𝑬𝑵  𝑯𝑰𝑺  𝑳𝑰𝑷𝑺  𝑩𝑹𝑼𝑺𝑯𝑬𝑫  𝑨𝑮𝑨𝑰𝑵𝑺𝑻  hers  ,  violet  held  her  breath  ,  eyes  watching  his  face  .  the  petite  demigoddess  sighed  ,  her  hands  moving  up  to  touch  his  chest  .  ‘  maybe  .  or  maybe  i  just  want  you  to  be  more  straightforward  ,  ’  she  grinned  some  ,  pushing  herself  up  on  her  toes  so  she  could  brush  her  lips  against  his  own  as  well  .  after  that  ,  violet  pulled  back  and  winked  ,  turning  around  and  moving  so  she  could  take  something  for  her  strawberry  rolls  --- -  not  that  her  mind  could  think  of  anything  else  but  thorn  and  his  lips  on  hers  .  but  violet  liked  to  play  ,  so  a  little  game  couldn’t  hurt  anyone  .  it  only  made  the  desire  grow  more  .

           𝐈𝐓  𝐓𝐀𝐊𝐄𝐒  𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘   ounce  of  elijah’s  being , to  hold  it  together  and not  laugh  along  with  his  best  friend  .   and  rather ,  he scrunches  his  face,  in  an  attempt  to  fake  disgust .  just  one  last  time , the  son  of  eros  has  the  need  to  tease  deimos  rhee  .   ❝   what  made  you  think  that ,  didi  ??   ❞   he  quirks  a  brow , waiting  for  an  answer  .    but ,  when  the  other’s  fingers  are  suddenly  intertwined  within  his  own , eli  can’t  help  but  crack  .   his  cheeks  growing  round  whilst  his  eyes  crinkle  in amusement  and  he  can’t  remain  entirely  serious  as  he goes  to  speak  again .   ❝   good  hygiene  is  hot  —  but  ,   ❞  he  glances  over  deimos ,    ❝   we  can  make  an  exception .  if  it’s  you  ,  being  sweaty and what not ,  it’s  not  so  bad ,  ❞  he  continues  to  walk  alongside  the  younger  ,  swinging  their  arms  with  each  step  they  take. 

         ❝   you  say  that,  but  one  day  i’ll  expose  you  for  the  softie  that  you really  are ,  just you wait  and see .  but  for now  ,  i’ll  let  you  continue  as  the  dark  brooding  bad  boy  that  you  want  everyone  to  believe  is  the  real  you .  that  way  we  can  spare  your  trainees ,   ❞  elijah  giggles ,  knowing  it  was  all  talk  on  his  end .  though  ,  it  was  difficult for  him  to  think  that  perhaps  there  were   people  here  at  nl  who  saw  deimos  as  intimidating  or  even  scary.  and ,  he  shook  his   head  , unable  to  fathom  it .  however ,  it  was  the   sudden  need  of  direction  which  broke  his  train  of  thought  .  instead  ,  a  question  popped  within  his  head  .   ❝   where  are  we  watching  the  movie  ??  your  room  or  mine’s  ??   ❞ 

         « ♡ »     𝑺𝑬𝑬𝑰𝑵𝑮  𝑬𝑳𝑰𝑱𝑨𝑯  𝑯𝑨𝑷𝑷𝒀  𝑨𝑵𝑫  𝑺𝑴𝑰𝑳𝑰𝑵𝑮  is  literally  the  best  thing  in  deimos’  life  .  the  way  the  older’s  face  scrunches  up  and  how  he  can’t  keep  his  eyes  open  if  he’s  smiling  too  hard  --- -  that  smile  alone  is  enough  to  make  deimos’  heart  beat  ten  times  faster  .  and  if  letting  those  feelings  consume  him  until  there’s  nothing  left  is  what  it  takes  for  elijah  to  always  smile  like  that  ,  then  deimos  doesn’t  mind  watching  the  son  of  eros  being  happy  with  someone  else  ,  no  matter  how  bad  it  hurts  and  how  he  can’t  properly  breath  at  the  thought  of  someone  else  touching  eli  and  making  him  smile  like  that  .  ‘  are  you  saying  i’m  not  hot  ??  should  i  take  off  my  shirt  and  test  our  that  theory  ??  ’  he’s  teasing  of  course  .  there  are  certain  scars  that  are  meant  to  be  hidden  ,  especially  from  the  prying  eyes  of  the  other  demigods  .  deimos  doesn’t  keep  a  secret  his  story  ,  but  he  doesn’t  like  to  go  in  details  either  . 

         ‘  and  here  i  was  ,  thinking  you’d  like  to  keep  the  softie  me  just  for  yourself  .  if  sharing  me  with  the  rest  of  the  world  is  what  you  really  want  ,  just  say  so  ,  peach  .  you  know  your  wish  is  my  command  .  ’  there’s  a  relaxed  grin  on  his  face  as  they  slowly  make  their  way  out  of  the  training  ground  ,  hands  swinging  together  with  each  of  their  step  .  deimos  can’t  help  but  glance  at  the  older  demigod  ,  taking  in  his  pretty  features  and  just  ...  wishing  for  more  .  always  for  more  .  is  elijah’s  voice  the  one  that  brings  him  back  to  earth  and  he  clears  his  throat  ,  looking  like  a  kid  who  just  got  caught  doing  something  bad  --- -  if  staring  at  your  best  friend  and  contemplating  about  how  much  you  want  to  kiss  him  means  bad  - ---  .  ‘  well  ...  you  want  me  to  take  a  shower  so  we  can  go  to  my  room  ,  since  i  don’t  have  anything  to  wear  if  we  go  to  yours  .  unless  you  have  nothing  against  me  being  naked  ,  of  course  .  ’

          like most people, charla had a filter, her’s was just a little different. rather than holding back the meaner opinions she had, she did so to her nicer thoughts. sure, she said kind things here and there but it was never a lot and was only said towards the people she cared about. however, it all changed today. her sick state caused her to willingly say positive things with a personality to match. as she sat at the table in front of buntmuda’s locked doors, she announced,   ❝ since buntmuda’s closed, i went out and bought a bunch of pastries and stuff for anyone who wants it free of charge. ❞ 

        « ♡ »     𝑻𝑯𝑬𝑹𝑬  𝑾𝑨𝑺  𝑺𝑶𝑴𝑬𝑻𝑯𝑰𝑵𝑮  𝑾𝑬𝑰𝑹𝑫  𝑮𝑶𝑰𝑵𝑮  on  around  nl  .  his  siblings  were  all  unconscious  for  a  reason  he  couldn’t  understood  .  however  ,  it  weren’t  only  the  johnsons  the  ones  out  ,  but  all  the  healers  and  the  rest  of  the  demigods  with  magic  .  that’s  why  ,  when  he  saw  charla  ,  the  son  of  erebus  stopped  and  turned  around  ,  walking  towards  her  ,  only  to  frown  upon  hearing  her  words  .  ‘  charla  ,  are  you  sick  ??  ’  the  demigod  asked  ,  pressing  one  hand  against  her  forehead  because  there  was  no  way  she  would  be  so  nice  without  an  ulterior  motive  .  ‘  also  ,  how  come  you  are  awake  ??  all  the  circe  and  hecate  children  are  unconscious  .  ’

“What the hell is going on?” Peter called as he made his rounds through the halls, already wiping his hands with Germ-X.

He was scribbling on a clipboard, making a note to check in with each floor of residents and trying not to freak out. “The infirmary is filling up fast and all the healers are out– this doesn’t make any sense.”
