Politicians must treat the media with respect if they are to conduct their job properly.

We all know that people have the right to participate in decision-making in a democratic society. We all know that in a society, each individual has responsibilities, such as voting intelligently and being accountable. The fundamental reason that the media is crucial or plays such a significant role in a democratic society is that it is the only means for citizens to receive information. One of the government's top responsibilities is to enlighten residents and to do so legally, they are not permitted to influence the media and must instead provide valid information to the public. When it comes to the media in a democratic society, it is a tool that's used to educate or inform individuals and voters about anything that has to do with how the government operates and how things are managed. Furthermore, they are providing citizens with not just any news but the facts.

Being media and information literate is an excellent skill to possess these days. In this current generation and the situation we face, we have to fit in and be knowledgeable about today's upgrading high technology to continue learning without being at risk with the virus by conducting online meetings instead of the typical face-to-face classes. These skills allow us to be well informed about using these newly developed technologies accurately and responsibly. As technologies are currently being widely used, it is essential to be a media and information literate individual to make your voice or opinions heard more conveniently and faster. It also enables us to identify where we can get authentic and reliable information about specific topics and be responsible digital users.
