Steven thought that friendships involved, say, studying together, or spending quality, non-life-threatening time with each other that didn’t involve jumping off the nearest building. His expression clearly displayed his concerns, and they came out in stuttered, buckling statements. “I – uhm, sure, but…are you…are you sure? I mean, is it safe? Isn’t there a…a landing cushion…or something?”

“a landing cushion?” nick snapped his fingers. “that’s it! i knew i was forgetting something...” hoping that’s the only thing he’s forgetting, nick throws his arm around steven’s shoulders. “safe? you don’t change the world by playing it safe. that and i-uh-have no other way to test these. anyway, do you think a mattress is good enough? maybe toss in a few pillows?”

Dallon had been a little bit more preoccupied the past couple of days. Meaning, his mind was a lot more hazier than normal. His body in a half asleep state as he aimlessly walked through the corridor, hopefully to get to his dorm to catch up on some needed sleep. He slammed onto another body, before hearing someone’s voice. Waking up from his half asleep state, Dallon silently stared at him fuss over his phone. “mirror image of your heart? Wh-what?” he asked confused, shaking his head a little to get rid of the drowsiness. 

 “as in my heart has shattered into a million pieces. it’ll take forever to put back together-how will i ever go on?” he bends down to retrieve the now useless device, groaning at the sight of the cracks in the screen. “well, obviously there is going to have to be a funeral. you mind saying a few words for the eulogy?” nicolas pulls out a second phone from his pocket, already making plans in his calendar. “i need to send out invitations and i’m going to need a new suit...this is such poor timing. how do you feel about after class in two-maybe three-days? that’s enough time right?”

Bryn is stops in mild surprise as she’s cut off by a figure, looking up from the ground into the face of the other. An expression that could only be described as ‘extremely weirded out’ passes as she notices the male is lacking in eyebrows. She crosses her arms over her chest and tilts her head. “Um… what? Who are you..”

he points to where his eyebrows should be, noticing the look in her eyes when she sees the lack of hair. “the product of a minor miscalculation. honestly it didn’t even hurt. that much. anyway-”  he places his palm over his chest and clears his throat. “i am nicolas-or nick-never cole and certainly never nicky.”
