“I’ve never talked to someone, so that explains why…” He smiled and gave a little wave. “Nice to meet you, I’m Niffler!”

       it was hard to watch her little brother BERATE himself as he spoke, but she couldn’t find the words to stop him. it had become unnatural to stop her brother from criticizing himself, as she had not done it so long. it was HARD. difficult. “ it’s okay, ” she finally managed out, after he spoke, closing her eyes once more, letting the back of her lids sting as she inhaled deeply ; trying not to cry once more. “ i’m HERE. we’ll make this work, ” she opened her eyes, giving him a small, shaky smile. “ it’s not all your fault, okay?? i shouldn’t… i shouldn’t have LEFT you. i’m sorry. ” she paused. “ you won’t lose me again, okay?? ” she approached him once more, to pull him into a tight embrace.

         “ it’s like… a non muggle way of transporting yourself from place to place, ” tom explained, trying to avoid the usage of the word MAGIC. “ you disappear?? where do you go? “ interesting—colour him intrigued. 

Niffler smiled and shrugged a little. “Sorry, I thought it was… Something everyone did. I won’t do it again if it makes you feel bad. Thank you!” He grinned.

       “ it does NOT. i am graduating next year, ” he tried to explain CALMLY and patiently, but all he did was sound WHINY. “ no, i cannot. i can apparate, but not shadow travel. ” tom’s eyebrows furrowed as he looked at the other, confusion clear on his face. “ death? why would you die? “

“What’s apparating?” Nico queried, a curious look crossing his face. “Sometimes, if I Shadow Travel too much, I...disappear. I guess? That’s the easiest way to describe it.”

· · · she flinched at his loud voice, something she couldn’t control. his apology soothed her, if only a LITTLE. at his pleading, bianca’s eyes flickered down to the ground, as she was unable to face him. what was she supposed to tell him_??_·she could feel her bottom lip tremble, and finally, she spoke.·“ nico, i was dead, ” she started off, her voice WAVERING,·“ i-i was dead, but now i’m ALIVE, but it doesn’t feel·like it. everyday it’s a CHORE·to wake up a-and pretend·that i’m alive again even if i’m NOT. i’m always·alone. ” she felt her chest get tight ; a sob escaping her lips,·“ i should’ve stayed·dead. ”

Nico gave a confused look to the boy before looking down at his bomber jacket and skinny jeans, not seeing anything particularly..love worthy. “Uh, really? It’s just…a jacket and jeans. I look like my dad dressed me. I didn’t realise that til’ now, so I should…change.”
