Tobey had been going for a walk when he saw Nicolas in front of him. He sped up a bit to say hello but it seemed as if the man was deep in thought. Nicolas looked at him and Tobey smiled again, eyes crinkling at the corners. “I was just asking if I could take you to lunch?” He asked, softly. “Call it a wedding present if you will!”

“That would be nice, thank you” He Smiled. “And I do apologise for zoning you on you. It still feels like a dream that Zoey’s finally my wife. Did you have a good Christmas and New year?” He asked. Getting up he stretched slightly.

I am, It’s just nerves. But I know that being married to Zoey is what was meant to be. My mom always says if first marriages fail then it wasn’t truly meant to be. Zoey we’re together for a while when Everlee was very little but being the idiot I am I though that being with my at the time wife was better for my daughter. It wasn’t though. My heart was with Zoey the moment I first saw her.
