Here's a quick walk around of the car
Got the engine, a 1962 327 small block Chevy home and freed up. Hasn't run since 1977, but was put away running strong. I have faith this engine will serve me well.
Got to see the the engine and transmission today. The pickup for the cars has been delayed a couple days.
It's my dad's birthday, but he snagged me this 327 with corvette heads and a 4 speed. A little locked up but was put away free. So it shouldn't take too much to get going again. Will go into the s30 nicely.

Provided with these pictures and the description in the ebay listing, My dad and I bought these two cars on March 29, 2015. They are a 1974 260Z and a poor 280z convertible project somebody had abandoned. The roadster has the L28E engine in it that shouldn’t be too far from running. The 260z was set up for an LS1 but the motor and tranny have been removed.
Some good selling points for me on the 260z were the clean body, aftermarket suspension, the fact it was already setup for a V8. I dig the roll cage as well. The 260z also has an upgraded rear end from a 300zx.
The cars are being shipped from North Carolina to here in Cleveland. Should be here on the 12th or 13th of April for further assessment.
This blog will log the build of the 260z.
