💖😻Guess who's home?!!😻💖 Ollie is on some meds temporarily and permanently on a special kidney health specific wet food diet, but mostly back to his sassy self. Basically his kidney levels were at almost fatal levels, had I waited one more day he wouldn't have made it. His levels now are almost at normal levels. I have to take him back in 3 months for more testing to be sure his levels are still ok at that time. And obviously in the meantime continue to monitor him at home. He's a little off still but already smacked Helo, and the tail whacking is a good sign (he's a weird tail whacker when he's happy) so I'm sure he'll be 100% himself in no time. My jerkface cat, Ollie, is really really sick. He suddenly stopped eating so I immediately took him the vet yesterday, Monday March 16th. He underwent x-rays, 2 enemas (bc we was severely constipated) and bloodwork. They sent me home with some medication to help his bowel movements but he still wasn't eating. This morning I got a call from the vet advising me to bring him in asap to 48hr intensive care; his bloodwork results showed alarming levels indicating possible kidney failure. I'm going to do everything I can to help him util there is no other option.  Unfortunately, this also couldn't have come at a worse time. Yesterday we announced that our tattoo studio would close voluntarily for the next 2 weeks, meaning I am also without income for 2 weeks. It has cost $2,000.00 so far and that will likely go up.  I hate asking for money, I really do. But I'm beyond stressed and at my financial limit and I don't want the fact that I can't afford his care diminish Ollie's chances. I will be fully transparent and post the receipts when I get them.
