My little Chris is 4 months old! Time goes by so quickly. I remember this time last year. It was such a hectic time. I am so grateful for my little miracle. I haven't shared this with many people, but while I was only 3 weeks pregnant I lost a lot of blood. I was very nervous that I miscarried. I went to the ER and all they could do for me was draw some blood and see if certain hormone levels changed in a couple of days. Those few days waiting for the results were excruciating. It was character day at Tatiana's school and she wanted to be #Nala from #theLionKingMusical If you know me, that's all I had to hear. Chris and I went to work. I #drew and #painted a #mask, Chris went to work on making it stable and sturdy enough for her to wear all day long. He bent wire into the perfect shapes, idk how he did it. I would have been so frustrated if I had to do this alone. Once the mask was put together, we #designed Tatiana an outfit inspired by Nala's. Tatiana choose the #fabric, which I have stock piled in tons of colors fabrics and styles. We pinned everything where we wanted it, and sent her to bed. As she slept Chris and I finished up. I have to say I am so proud of us. When she woke up she was ecstatic. She let me put her hair up in two buns, without any fussing or fighting. She carefully dressed herself in the #outfit we prepared. She sat still as I painted exaggerated cat eye makeup on her.
