It's October!! Even though I usually considered September an autumn month it feels like it's officially Fall! I'm celebrating with a cup of coffee and my grandma's toffee bars. Before I made these it had been at least five years since I had eaten them before she passed away. I have fond memories of eating these at church as a kid, along with her telling me not to eat them all. (Let's be real though, I'd have eaten the pan if she had let me.) The leaves were originally going to be put in my art journal, but I forgot about them and they dried up making it impossible to put them in a book. So rather than wasting, they are now photo props. 🍁☕🍁

The lilacs are in full bloom and the yard smells fantastic!

Sometimes the closer you look the more you see.
