我不是为了上班才到这个世界上来的……

I sometimes wonder whether aliens are edible. In Destiny 2's lore, it's mentioned that the Eliksni have consumed human corpses—so I've started wondering if humans could eat these aliens. This is actually a topic that's been around since No Man's Sky: if alien diets include humans, it would imply predator-prey relationships. But right now, I'm more focused on whether aliens themselves can be eaten. We don't know much about how human digestive systems evolved during the Golden Age, but I think Cabal soldiers and their breed of war beasts might make exceptionally high-quality meat—after all, the Cabal military probably maintains strict health standards for its troops. As for the Cabal's allied races, I've always been curious (not in a morbid way) whether their emotionally complex brains might produce hallucinogenic effects. The game's festivals mention Cabal oil, so perhaps pan-fried Cabal liver would be an interesting dish. Regarding the Eliksni, I usually assume their flavor resembles crab—maybe king crab—but they could also taste like chicken. I once thought about Halloween in the game: maybe deep-fried, flour-coated Eliksni fingers could be a spooky snack. As for the Hive, given how unnaturally twisted this race is and their corruption effects, I don't think they're safe to eat. Though in-game lore does say that Hive internal organs make excellent fire-starting material. And as for the Vex? Well, I'd love to see a pot made from Vex material—what if it were incredibly heat-resistant?

Every time I watch videos with my friend and chat, we always accurately point out certain characters saying, "This is something a Titan would do." Maybe Titans really do have stereotypes. But actually, in the official stories there are also some Guardians with unpleasant personalities, so I completely understand... Still, I've always found characters who are somewhat chauvinistic yet family-oriented to be quite adorable—of course, this refers only to fictional characters.

Guardians of the Exo usually don't notice the scratches on their bodies; the system typically repairs both wounds and scars simultaneously, leaving them as good as new after maintenance. More often than not, Guardians are too busy rushing from one battlefield to another, with Vanguard missions consuming most of their time.
Selva-4 hadn't noticed the small scratch on his lip until Sophia pointed it out.
"When did this happen..."?"
But Exo wasn't surprised—it was clearly Blaster-8's doing. Sophia beeped happily; it turned out their kiss left a mark.

I just thought of something really cute—what if children from orphanages express their affection with stickers? Then, perhaps the guardians' gear could have some of these child-made stickers subtly placed on them. It would feel so adorable... A generous Titan might even stick a sticker on their breastplate—it could be a kind of quiet pride for them, secretly comparing who has collected more stickers.
Every time I send my teammates a photo of my Warlock outfit, they always ask, "Why is this guy so muscular? Is he a Titan?" Then I reply, "Yes, he can punch three Titans to death with one fist."

Let me ramble a bit about some bedtime thoughts. Overall, I find it quite clever that Bungie designed the Lightbearers to be unable to reproduce—this prevents them from evolving into an independent race. That is, regardless of whether their offspring can wield light or not, if they could reproduce, a self-sustaining population would eventually emerge. Since reproduction isn't possible, Lightbearers are naturally inclined to seek acceptance within their original species, thus identifying themselves as human rather than demigods or chosen beings—especially since the Travelers are considered gods. This implies that the only way for the Lightbearer population to grow is through Ghosts reviving corpses. Still, it's somewhat surprising that they only decided to conduct ideological screenings on Ghosts after discovering some had turned traitor.
That said, Clovis' invention of the Exo conversion doesn't truly achieve immortality in any meaningful sense, since under normal circumstances, Exos still need to clear "memories" when transitioning from one form to another. Moreover, the Exo race itself cannot serve as the answer to human evolution, because this race has also been stripped of reproductive capability. As for Awoken, whether they can reproduce is actually an interesting question—but I haven't studied their lore much, so I won't go into it.
I've always been fascinated by how Exo grapple with and affirm their humanity. After all, official sources have shown that Exo feel offended when called robots, which suggests that self-identity and anchoring to human traits are essential for them. However, Bungie's design does present several contradictions: Exo need to eat, sleep, and experience being human, yet biological functions like excretion are part of natural instincts. In my opinion, though, Exo probably don't have actual excretory organs—I even suspect they lack digestive systems altogether. So theoretically, a human converted into an Exo with four arms could exist, as long as the brain accepts the body without rejection. But if Exo aren't widespread, perhaps most of them will remain military models?
