Sand Sea was something else xD So first book that we don't have Wu Xie's pov and instead we got Li Cu and sometimes Liang Wan. This was different and for me personally I still prefer Wu Xie's pov since I wanted to know his full "dismantle the Wang family" plan. But of course we need to keep that as mysterious as possible, the same way Wu Xie was kept in the dark about Wu Sanxing's plan.

We got 4 parts and npss even rewrote part 4 but he still hasn't managed to finish it LOL The plan was like maybe 50% done but I'm still missing the other 50% after Li Cu was saved/snatched from the Wang family facility. No idea if the drama adaption filled that void that was left unwritten. Currently I have no plans on watching it though.

The horror levels of the snakes have been upgraded. Didn't knew that was possible but I was proved wrong. It's always those freaking snakes! I felt ill when reading about "that part" in Part 4 *yuck* Think the only thing I actually liked was the introduction to Xiaoman ge, the dog.

Saw this randomly but these are some dmbj merch and someone said that this Wu Xie is supposed to be Sand Sea Wu Xie. I can totally see it since he is so different here. Embodying the 邪帝 title to the fullest!

I also got to know a little bit more about He Yanjing and I'm so curious about his background as well. He is supposed to have longevity like Xiaoge but he is not from the Zhang Family. He also kept reminding us that he will die soon and will go completely blind hmmmmm... His last name is Qi but Xiaohua said he could be related to the Mystic Nine but also not, so I'm a bit confused for now. Imagine if he is related to Ba ye^^

Out of the new characters, I think Su Man was the one I liked the most. Even Hei Yanjing took him under his wing and was willing to teach him a thing or two. Just how his brain worked during those harsh conditions and stuff was very different and I found myself not minding having his pov instead of Li Cu. Will we even see Li Cu, Su Man, Yang Hao and Liang Wan again after Wu Xie has reached his goal of destroying the Wang family?

I read some extras after finishing Sand Sea, but it was nothing special. It was fun to have a small glimpse into Hei Xiazi training Wu Xie though. Another happy thing is I can finally start Ten Years after where we get to see Xiaoge again YES!!!!!! IT'S BEEN TOO LONG!!!!!!
