fellow cnovel readers, if you're looking for a somewhat underrated gǔ yán + shuǎng wén read, please allow me to recommend Zuì Qióng Zhī by Kuáng Shàng Jiā Kuáng:

That qi dude in dancing with the tide novel is literally the most loathsome character I have read in a novel in years.

i’m on vacation with friends which means i haven’t really kept up with dramas but i have almost finished dancing with the tide and probably will be done in the next day or two. depending on how it ends it will probably go on my top shelf with deng hua xiao and carrying a lantern in daylight because apparently if at least one of your main characters is too smart and cunning and also thinks of themselves as totally expendable in service to someone/thing they love…fuuuuuuck.

I recommended Reborn to love lord Qiansui (See recommendation post here) But I wanna do a sort of read and react format here because its a Novel that is 1) complete and 2) easily accessible. Plus I would love to find some reading buddies to read these GB novels with, and what better way to do a little test run on the Novel's I'm planing to read than a Novel about a Martial artist Obsessive Lady and a Traumatized Eunuch!
