AUTHORS NOTE: I changed the prompts a little bit and made it jealous!reader because I was inspired ok... please don't be mad

-you’re Tina and Queenies younger sibling

-when you first meet Newt, after Tina brings him back to the apartment, he sets you’re heart aflutter immediately

-But you see the way he looks at Tina and it makes your chest ache for a man you barely know

-Sometimes your body tries to trick your brain telling it that Newt cares for you, FEELS for you

-Like when its dark, after everyones gone to bed, and your stuck in the middle of a recurring nightmare about the death of your parents.

-Newt hears you, sits beside you in bed and listens while you talk about it, about THEM

-He always brings you a special tea that he makes down in his case.

-he tells you theres a secret ingredient in it that helps you sleep. Your too shy to tell him you know that all that is in the tea is a small drop of honey

-Your body tricks your brain, until you see Newt and Tina together again, laughing quietly to each other.

-your brain can no longer be tricked and all of a sudden tears flood your eyes and it feels like your hearts been replaced with a hollow wooden box

-you carry that wooden box inside you, until you get hurt by the obscuris

-theres jinxes and lights flashing everywhere and your on the ground, silent tears rushing down your cheeks

- Y/N! Y/N! Newt rushes to your side and kneels beside your shivering body.

-"Don't you dare leave me Y/N, don't you dare!" he starts healing your wounds with quick waves of his wand

-"Newt... if something happens to me, I nee-" "Nothing's going to happen, you're going to be fine" he interrupts you, his voice panicked.

-"Let me finish," you croak, and he turns to listen to you, " I know that its Tina, that its always going to be Tina" you smile and theres a little blood on your teeth but to Newt it is the most beautiful site hes ever seen. "But for me its you, your my Tina" you finish.

- Most of your fights happen after an attempt to catch a creature.

-you did something Newt told you not to and you almost got hurt

-"You can't be that careless!" he yells.

-you could count the times Newt has yelled at you on one hand, and they all were because of you putting yourself in harms way.

-”Your so selfish Y/N!” he shouts,” Do you have any idea of what I would be like without you?”

-You can’t help but be hurt by his words but you also cannot say your actions were totally selfless. You wanted to prove you could do what Newt does. 

-”I’m selfish?” you ask quietly seething with anger.

-Newt seems unsure of what to say, his mouth opening and closing, without saying a word.

-”You call me selfish, when for out of the five years we have been together, i have followed you across the world, without complaints so you could finish your book.” you yell, unable to keep your emotions under control.

-”our book” he mumbles, you only slightly catch his words

-”ours?” you stop in your tracks, eyes widening.

-”Well if course,” he whispers, “it’s as much your book as mine at this point.”

-Your shocked and not quite sure what to say.

-He walks towards you, slowly taking you in his arms. You rest your head on his shoulder, taking in his sweet scent.

-”I’m sorry for calling you selfish,” he whispers in your ear, “I just can’t stand the thought of losing you.”

-Newt being really excited and nervous for you to meet Queenie and Tina

-”You’re going to love them darling.” he tells you, is hands moving in every direction as he packs.

-You are to afraid to tell him that you are not afraid that you won’t like them but if they like you.

-when you arrive in New York the city seems large and advanced even compared to London

-when you arrive at Queenie and Tina’s apartment Newt forgets to introduce you in his haste to hug the two sisters

-”Now Newt is this that lovely girl of yours?” Queenie asks, pulling you into a hug

“Theres no need to be nervous,” she whispers in your ear, using her legilimency skills to see your thoughts.

-You realize halfway through dinner that you had no reason to be nervous in the first place. The sisters are wonderful and you think you’re going to become great friends

-After dinner, you and Newt are sitting, together on the couch, as the two sisters insisted you sit down while they clean up

-Your eyes are just starting to close when you feel a slight pressure against your lips.

-”what was that for?” you ask, sleepily.

-”I’m just very happy you got along so well with Queenie and Tina.” he smiles down at you shyly.

-”I love you.” you murmur, falling asleep.

-Newt going out with Tina, Queenie and Jacob to a wizarding speak-easy called Leviosa, where you work as a lounge singer

-Queenie orders 30 shots of Firewhisky

-Newt doesn’t usually drink but hes unsure Jacob, Tina and Queenie will survive drinking all those shots themselves

-after about his 5th shot Newt starts to lose himself in your soft crooning voice

-He cant take his eyes off you, you’re wearing a red sparkling flapper dress with a feather headband. Your hair is softly curled around the angles of your face.

-He thinks its the firewhisky making the decisions for him when he gets up from his booth and takes a seat closer to where you are singing.

-You notice him watching you and you can’t take your eyes off hiim either, constantly sending him flirty glances

-when you take a break you go up to the bar and order two drinks

-you slide into the chair beside Newt, his eyes are wide open staring at you in awe.

-”I thought i should buy you a drink, seeing as you seem to be my biggest fan tonight.” you wink

-Newt insisting he is fine to keep working even though his nose is red and he cannot stop sweating

-you taking Newts hands and forcing him into bed

-you don’t want to hover but you know if you don’t then Newt will sneak back into his case

-you make Newt homemade chicken noodle soup and despite his protests you feed it to him

-Newt feeling useless but secretly liking you playing nurse for him

-Newt wanting to kiss you but is worried about you catching his cold

-you grab his sweaty, red face in your hands and kiss him anyway

-“but darling you’ll get sick” newt tells you, concern filling his eyes

-“I don’t care” you laugh, taking his hands in yours

-when you are stressed out or concerned your fidgeting gets worse and sometimes you cannot do everyday tasks because your hands are shaking so bad.

-when Newt is out hunting creatures your fidgeting gets a lot worse because you are fearing for his safety.

-when he gets back home you always have red marks all the way up your arm from picking at old scabs or skin.

-he always kisses the marks on your skin calling them beautiful 

-you always get anxious about Newt seeing your arms after a particualarly bad day

-instead of forcing you to show him your marks he takes your hands and pulls you into his arms whispering that youll be ok

-being scared of going out in public with Newt because what happens if someone notices your fidgeting and thinks your weird.

-when you truly dont want to leave the house Newt makes you buttered popcorn and brings you to the couch to cuddle and tell you stories and fun facts about his creatures.

-you know most of these stories already but you amuse him and always listen intently.

-Newt being afraid to kiss you. You both have confessed your feelings but Newt is scared to go farther into foreign territoy such as kissing.

-He REALLY wants too.

-Hes crafted two dozen scenarios in his head of just grabbing you, pushing you against the wall and kissing you.

-His favourite scenario is a rather simple one, you and him narrowly avoiding some attack of some kind and wrapping your arms around each other out of instinct

-the adrenaline still being high and almost reflexively your faces move so your facing one another

-the world disappearing so its only you and Newt in the middle of an empty New York neighbourhood

-this close to Newt you can see a freckle on the edge of his mouth

-you lean in slowly and kiss the freckle

- "you missed" he laughs softly
