You might have seen Kev and I recently started a new fitness program called 645 (we are almost done with week 2, I can’t believe it😁). I'm hosting this thing called a challenge group and building a BOD squad💪 I would love to have you join me and go through this workout together. Yay! Hubby and I completed the first week of the new fitness program @645program! I have been checking in on stories daily to stay accountable and keeping track in my fitness group(s) too. We weighed and measured ourselves this week and can't wait to see what the next 12 weeks brings us. Looks like I have lost a few pounds although my goal for this is to get stronger and back to my 'normal' self. I would love to lose weight but inches would be fine too.😉 This 13 week program is a huge stretch for me as many of you know just 2 months ago I was in the ICU with a bad case of COVID pneumonia. And I have pretty bad knees. I have a lot of work to do but surprisingly I'm feeling great. I don't get out of breath in this program as much as I do walking to the mail box and walking up and down stairs. I don't have to take too many breaks during the workout which is really nice.👍 I'm still modifying the modifier but I'm all in. I know this workout will make us stronger 🙌 This workout is really helping mentally too. It's pushing me to do better every day. "This 13-week program combines cardio, resistance training, and restorative mobility workouts. Learn how to use proper form, workout with intention, be present with your body and reach your highest potential yet!" Doing the workout with my hubby Kevin is different from what I am used to but I love it. He keeps me going and I love his support. ❤️ We made the 645 commitment and if we finish the program we'll each get $45 back for completing the program. During our overnight stay in Portage, WI, we had dinner at Suzy's Steak & Seafood House restaurant which was right next to the @bestwestern hotel we stayed at. We could easily walk there as it was in the same parking lot. 👍 We had a very tasty dinner. Kev had the Parmesan Baked Haddock and I had steak with a sweet potato😋. We shared a calamari appetizer and we each had a drink. I had a margarita and Kev had an Old Fashioned. And we split a slice of cheesecake.😉 We had a wonderful server and what a cute restaurant. Happy Independence Day! Proud and blessed to be an American. 🇺🇸 We have relaxed and totally enjoyed ourselves this weekend. Today was great. Kev was able to kayak on Lake Defiance at Moraine Hills State Park here in IL this morning. I was able to relax and read while he did that. One day soon I'll join him as my breathing gets better. Yay! This evening we drove over an hour to have Good to Go Jamaica Cuisine @goodtogoja for dinner in Evanston, IL. It was fantastic as usual. 😉 Kev has tomorrow off so I'll do a bit of work then we'll relax. Hope your day was fabulous.
